What's on your feet while playing DDR?

I play with shoes? unless on homepad then socks. Whats the point of this thread? it doesn't matter what you wear on your feet when u play ddr.

Sometimes when I am at home, I will wear 10 pounds weights on my legs so I can bulid my endurance/stamina. Or I will just wear socks. At arcade I wear my 1337 Vans skate peformance shoes. =D

Black Converse hightops with the kanji for 'Ryu[o]dori' written on the toe. At home usually just socks. I can't play barefoot on the soft mats b/c they bunch up and I inevitably end up tripping.

I hate shoes and ddr. I played at home before the arcade and it was so different. I just wear converse because they are the closest thing to no shoes with actually a little, but not much padding

i've always worn vans when i play at the mall on the metal pads, even though i see a lot of people wearing chucks, but when i'm at home playing on the soft pads i gotta play with socks. it seems to help when you're playing heavy songs such as Can't Stop Falling in Love when you play with socks on the soft pads cuz then you don't slide on them

WELL I'M THE WEIRD ONE AND I CAN'T PLAY DDR IN ANY TYPE OF SHOES I PLAY IN MY SOCKS AND MY FEET HAVE REALLY TOUGH SKIN SO IT DOESN'T HURT

now a days for me, I wear a nice pair of Nike Shox (Monster).....they're hella good to play in, although it'll feel like you're not even hitting the pad when you're first playing with them....

man i just play with any shoes.....doesnt really matter....cause if im walking around and there just so happens to be a ddr....im not going to run home and get a pair of shoes then go back and play......i dk......but for me.....it would have to be .....what ever kind i have on...

Same here I just play With what im Wearing. I preffer the feel of playing with shoes in the arcade though i always do better in socks at home, i just have a soft pad and have a bad habit of sliding my feet....
