|
|
I picked up a bit of juggling way back when and imagine it'd be pretty
fun to do something like a cool freestyle light song whilst juggling.
Who needs the bar when you've got 3 balls going around your back
and under your legs
Anyone tried this/doing it/know of anyone doing it with style?
PS: Yeah, I googled this concept and couldn't find anything in the
archives here so it's appropriate (:
NOTE: Welcome to the DDR Juggling thread
ANY video links of juggling + DDR please post here
Haha I suppose this would have been more appropriate in "Gameplay" discussion... mods, do what you will...

Wow, I've never heard of anything like that before. That's certainly a weird and new concept. I'd like to see someone do this and then again I would't. _________________

I would always juggle to tribal beat/house tunes but I could never
incorporate steps. The balls look awesome when they're going
in patterns that match DDR style tunes.
Hahah now with DDR telling me where to put my feet, (and if
my brain can handle it), I might be able to do the dance/juggle
thing finally |

I've seen a video of someone juggling bowling pins while doing so deep heavy. at least I think they were bowling pins...pretty sure the guy did pretty well on it too. I think he also did it with his back to the screen. I'm not positive about that part though. |

Rats. I just started juggling whilst playing last week. I figured I had something original worked out. I'm up to six footers while juggling.
Ah well, goes to show there's really nothing original left. Still, with the 1 lb balls, it's pretty good excercise.
Oh, and they're not bowling pins. Those suckers are HEAVY. Juggling clubs weigh about 8 oz. each. |

Haha...
Well, I had planned on working on a performance and then showing up
in full jester gear at some competition.
DDR in a Chicken suit anyone?
(Maybe I'll just go with that because when I attempt to dance I engage
in some very chicken-like behavior, ie. flapping "wings" and "kicking
for food" foot action) |

I've seen a video where one guy was juggling glowsticks while playing Butterfly (looked like on like or standard, not sure). It was funny because he dropped one of them. Whoops!
But if no one else isn't really doing that in your area, you can. |

riddle me this: is it original when i play ddr in special shoes i got that little kids have where the soles light up when you step? cuz thats tight. i feel its original, unless little kids do it, because girls prefer to see a little kid with light up shoes than a 16 year old with the same. _________________

Doing anything and doing DDR at the same time is a difficult feat.
I'm trying to work on a routine (which requires doing something + DDR), and it's a horrid beyotch _________________

Somebody needs to rub their tummy and pat their head while playing DDR.
As if doing the tummy and head thing wasn't hard enough as is! |

here's an idea that's relatively new to me:
have people play an oni on both sides of the machine, and have another person stand by. when it switches songs, have the person on the left go to the right side, the person on the right hop off and the person standing by hop on the left. keep going around until it's over.
now that's juggling
i thought of this while my friends were trying to tag team legend road. _________________

That was definatyely amazing work. People have to realize though it isnt "as" hard as it seems. In DDr your center of gravity stays in about the same place over the middle of the pad the whole time. Which means thats where ur upper body is. When you juggle you usually try to keep your upper body in the same place. Hence so you can through the balls or clubs the same way every time. All im saying with some practice on one player it is something that is not hard to accomplish if you can do both on their own. Now double would be amazing to see. Um I think i got a new goal as soon as i get 2 pads at home. |
