|
|
Hello there guys. I recently just made a huge profit off of red octane being a total idiot and not returning my emails or calls. I baught a metal pad from them, a 200 dollar pad, but found that it never did work quite right. Anyways, long story short - they didnt answer my emails, failed to answer their phone, voided their warrantee, and i got all my money back, with a pad on the side...as they sorta crapped out all together and didnt even care that I had their pad and my money back from my credit card company. I promtly sold it on ebay for the sum of 170 bucks...and here I am without a pad, extra money, and the desire to use a pad that WORKS...
So my question is - What is the best metal pad besides the red octane metal dance pad, and no I dont wnat a cobolt flux pad either. What would be my best bet? I want something that works correctly, and the first time. It took me the whole 60 day warantee period from red octane to finally dismiss the pad as defective. I want a pad that no one has had troubles with, one that doesnt come from japan, and possibly one with a warantee. Thanks guys. |

yreah... that one, is 50 bucks more than it needs to be. though still cheaper than most other TX-2000s... I would still suggest a Cobalt even though you don't want to shell it out, because they are worth it... If you REALLY want the specs that you ask for without a flux, the only option you have is to build your own. Don't worry though. I'm a D student and built one, surely anyone else can. It's so nice that this thread is in the right forum.
The other major names in metal pads are MyMyBox and BNS, although I've heard more complaints with either than RO and CF combined, so I still believe that one of those is the way to go. _________________

Why don't you want a Cobalt Flux? I have one, and it works perfectly. I'm not going to say that it's the best pad ever because I really don't know, but I can say that it works... and keeps working. |

I dont want a cobolt flux pad because my friend won one in a tournament, and he said he didnt like it. Mainly cuase it didnt prepare you for the arcade, because of how its built. I want a metal pad so that its not just flat on top, so that I can more accurate that way in comparison to the arcade.
This is the right forum. I dont own any consoles, why are you telling me to go to the console forum....I use SM, and most of my troubles with my red octane pad were very SM related. This is for sure the right place for me to go, if I plan on getting a mod for the pad that I buy to play with it on the pc.
Im looking for the next best thing to a cobolt pad. My friend wins tons of tournaments, and he has one similar to the one in the URL that was posted earlier. I dont know if its the same one, but from what ive seen, that pad works best and is most accurate....My red octane pad - in teh times that it did work...was offbeat. Now i get a pure great attack no matter what, and its annoying. I want ot practice up on a pad I can trust for accuracy..
Im not into making my own pad....I always get jacked in those situations. If I couldnt fix red octanes mistakes, theres no way I can make my own. Thanks for all your suggestions guys. But even thogh money isnt an issue, I prefer to stay away from a flux pad. Im really looking for a metal pad. |
