okay so I'm having a severe timing issue, and the response in the FAQ is far from adequate. I have Stepmania and basically steps that I know should be registering as something other than a "boo".

What I need is the specific steps to go through, not just a quick sentence. I believe I have the latest version, I've only had this for a month or so.

This is most noticeable when using a pad, as opposed to the keybaord. It's not off by very much, but just enough to eff with my rhythm.

If you are using a pad with stepmania, it's going to be off sync. (you need to press much earlier) you need to change the offset.

Also, check to see that you are on judge 4 (default) instead of 6/7 or 8

is it possable that your computer is slow, so the arrows arnt moving as "smooth" as they should be thus throwing off your timing?

and how would I go about doing that? I don't remeber there being an option for it
