Um, yeah, but we aren't back in the day. I understand perfectly well what was being said. But I was stating that NOW you could get a machine for about 4000 dollars used, as the guy I was replying to was saying that he would be willing to pay 5000 dollars for that metal pad NOW. Please do not take that arrogant tone as if you understand something that I do not about the english language. It seems to me that all of your posts lately have been very hostile and I believe you might want to consider chilling out and taking a break from the message boards.

Wow, that is awesome. A real arcade machine would be sweeet..... but this is the next best thing.

Hey do you guys think if we like massively spammed some dude at Konami's Inbox, would they consider producing it again? Just some random employee, that might not even know about it, then he gets all pissed and goes to his boss and like "crazy americans send me electronic mail. what should i doooo?" E7.gif then liek eventually it gets to someone who can do something about it..... yea E4.gif

You`ll have to go Japan or find some overly generous person over there to do the searching for you. Game shops in Akihabara are your best bet, and then they may charge an arm and a leg on top of that. If you speak Japanese than maybe you can try to negotiate otherwise your pretty much SOL.

ahhhh, I remember seeing these things when I started to play seriously...

as I remember they were made for people who wanted an arcade machine but couldnt fit them in their house (cuz as others have pointed out its very tight living in japan) That was what I was told when there was a big deal about them a few years ago.

You could be right on that one, but just one thing...

Where would I put the machine!!!!!?? My house is made out of old hardwood floor and my garage has holes in it's roof and rats and spiders infest it. Don't mention the basement, because the damn ceiling is too low!!!

Sure glad I was able to get my Beat-gear pads. Even though I have had to rewire them because the controllers dies, I have yet to see anything else made as well yet.

yeah an extreme costs about 6-7k. You could always just get a lower version and spend a bit of money on upgrading it for a lot cheaper.

There were some eBay auctions up recently that looked suspiciously like the Beatgear pads, so the thinking is that the owner of the storage facility confiscated the property in exchange for non-payment, and he was trying to liquidate them to others.

Edit: Oh, and the seller was in Miami, which is where the Beatgear pads were coming from.

CoinOp sells their Extreme machines for $5,295 USD but that's without shipping.
