Wow... You said bye when you wanted to say buy.

We have a thread in arcade play about this.

If you try using tokens from other arcades, the arcade your playing at makes no money and you get to play their games.

You got off easy, he should have told you that you never get to play there again. It's people like you that totally ruin the token system that arcades have and force them to use actual currency to prevent things like that from happening.

Technically, it wasn't the manager that tried to get me into trouble, just a retarded employee acting like he's in charge while the real one's away. One of my friends works at my local arcade, and just as a funny joke, he took the label from the women's bathroon and stuck it on the DDR machine. The arcade was pretty empty at the time, and he justed wanted to break the dullness of the afternoon. About an hour later, the retard at the counter calls me up to the desk and accuses me put the label on the machine, claimed it was vandalism, and thretened to kick me out of the arcade. IT WAS A GODD.AMN STICKER! HOW IS IT VANDALISM IF IT COMES OFF!! Anyway, things somehow worked out, no one got in trouble and that's the end of my story...if it's even considered a story....

I spent one afternoon peeling stickers off of the side of our DDR machaine that some fucktarded little brat probably stuck on there to cure their boredom. I personally don't find it funny. People should feel privelaged to have Bemani machines in their arcade and actually respect them.

On the token thing, what would ever make you think it would be ok? I've done it once on accident only because I kept the tokens that I had in the same tube. When I realized it, I took the other ones out and put them in my purse.

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

Let's put it this way.

You spend thousands of dollars on a DDR machine, and some kid comes in, screws up with the coins, and pisses off the manager. What's going to happen? Is the manager going to smile and go and retrieve the coins from the machine (if they didn't get returned from the coin return plunger), or will they get mad? I'm guessing the second.

Dude I know what you mean. I respect DDR likes its my sister. Anything that has to do with it I respect. We have one at my movie theater that I work at, and some kids were drawing on it and spilling soda on the pads on purpose! I was so angry that I yelled at them or said I would call the cops. Then I spent my break cleaning it up, windexed the screen, and played biggrin.gif

Now to completely kill the mature mood of my post, I've been known to hug the machine. I respect the machine that I began playing DDR on almost two years ago as though it were my own.

I've been really sad to see the condition of it decline recently due to those working there not giving a shit. One of the guys of our community used to work there, during that time, the machine was in the greatest shape. He's since moved on and now not even the manager gives a crap about it. When we complain, he tells us it is our fault and to stop blaming the pads. Well there's only so much we can blame ourselves for, the shit brown that the interface of the song wheel screen has become is certainly not one of them...

At the arcade that I play at the pads are starting to die on us. All the people who play complain, even the manager himself. But the upper managment supervisor bad people won't do anything to help. We want to get new sensors and stuff for our machine. I was thinking what if we boycotted it? Would the supervisors listen then? But then I realize that I probably couldn't stay off of it for long. But those bastards upstairs should do something to keep its customers happy. I just think they take it for granted. Just another stupid video game to them. Grr.
