w00t.

Hey, my name's Adam, for anyone who actually reads this introduction thread. I live in CA, and enjoy parousing all arcades in the area for DDR players to challenge. I only have a ps1, and my pad only half-works, but I play it at other people's houses / arcades so much, i feel like i own all versions of it. Anyway, hi!

Hello everyone! My name is Bolt-Edge, and i am from Cleveland, Ohio. I started playing DDR about 3-4 months ago, and I got sucked in right away. I at first saw all my friends play while we were at the arcade, and then there was me sitting on the side watching. Then my friend helped me get started out. My first time tryin arcade style was around the time I started at a local movie theater (the machines in bad quality...). Since music is my thing, I thought why not try this....and im repeating myself. I hope to play alot more. By the way, the main mix I play is the 7th mix (max2) and like all the songs on it

I'm Jen and I'm from Michigan. I've playing DDR for a little over 4 months now. My friend Laura got me hooked and now I play DDR all the time. (I had like 2 months where I didn't play at all, for whatever reason, but now I'm back and better than ever!) I went out and bought a ps2, DDR Max 1 & 2, all basically at the same time. Now I'm playing Heavy in the arcade. I'm not that great at heavy, but I'm passing songs! Yay!

Hello !! My name is Brianne and I live in Texas, I have been playing DDR for 3 years on and off.... I got hooked on to the DDR cause one day me and my friend were walking to her friends house and once we got there the girls brother and her where playing a Korean version of DDR so I played that and whenever I went to the movies, there was a game there I believe, I used to play it.
Well, I moved alway from where I was and I no longer was able to play Dance Dance Revolution, so I searched for it very well and I had gotten the pad and game, and I am still hooked, I just need a updated version, which I don't need anytime soon.

my names Andrew and im from SD of california. i played DDR during 2002ish but stopped after like 2-3 months then started again around July/August of this month. Whenever I used to go to the arcades, I'd just watch my brother and his friends play but I was inspired and wanted to play again. I can only do limited amounts of heavy songs like most of the 8-9 feet songs. I'm waiting for my CFs and DDR Extreme so I can practice a lot everyday.

I've been playing DDR since about late June now... I'm currently perfecting 8 footers, and working on 9's. I go to the arcade once a week, and like the DDR crowd I get to meet over the internet and at the arcades. I'm also a musician...

Hi, I'm Kirby Kirby Kirby. I've been signed up for about a month (I think E19.gif ) and I play DDR Extreme at the Salon 86 location in Shawinigan, Quebec, Canada.

I'm a total n00b since this is the only arcade within a 100 km of my house, and I go once a month since it is near to my grandma's house and I go about once a month. So, I'm happy that I AAed Butterfly on Beginner a month ago.

I only own a GameCube so hopes of a home DDR setup are pretty low unfortunately... However, I plan on getting Donkey Konga at Christmas and maybe make a dance pad to take advantage of this miraculous game.

Anyway, I plan on visiting more often. E4.gif

Lol, hello Pumahawk... I notice you have taken my avatar under your wing and are using it as your own. I'm not sure whether to be flattered or angry because 1) you took my avatar, and are leeching it from my webhost, but at the same time 2) man, u noticed my avatar enough to take it... pretty cool.

But... after a bit of careful debate, though i do find it flattering that you like it that much, i gotta ask you not use it on forums that I post on. I suppose if you want to use it on other forums, go for it I can't stop you. But here, and other places I post, please find a new one. It is my personal artwork you know.

Err.. my name's Frosty by the way, though I'm not really NEW, been posting here for some time now.

Yo ppls, whats up. My name's Dale and I live in Riverview, Florida. The first time I played DDR was...I believe late July of this year. Oh yah, it was, cuz it was my b-day and we went sumwhere that had a machine. Newayz, since then, I've gotten Ultramix for X-Box about a month ago, and played everyday since. I also play at the nearby Celebration Station on Extreme occasionally. As of right now, I can do a lot of songs on heavy, some better than others, of course. Best song I can do...well I got an A on Max 300 on standard...and an A on Can't Stop Fallin in Love Speed Mix on heavy...I know not that impressive, but hey. Well I hope we have a great time talkin here!

Hello everyone, my name is Arisu and I'm from Columbus, Ohio.
I was introduced to DDR from my neighbor, and got hooked the second I stepped on the pad. I bought DDRMAX2 for PS2, and picked it up quickly. I've had it less than a year, but I can pass most of the heavy songs (Kakumei being my favorite) and I hope that getting other's advice on these forums will help me improve!
I can't wait for DDRExtreme to come out, so if you ever happen to be selling one, I'd be interested. E1.gif

Hey. My name is Kate. I live in the worst state in America, IMO, Colorado. I go out to Hampton Beach, NH about once every 3 months and im out there all summer. I have really good friends out there, no friends in Colorado, becasue at my highschool, any one that plays DDR is a looser, and therefore no one really plays it. I've been playing for about a year now. I played my first game on 5th mix in some arcade in Colorado. But really LEARNED how to play on 7th mix in NH. I can now pass every song in the game except for Legend, Painoia Survivor Max Heavy, and Parinoia Survivor Max Oni. I can AA a few songs. I can also pass every song on standard doubles, and about half of heavy doubles.

Hiiiiiiii!

My name is Andrea, and I reside in Phenix City/Smiths Station. I go to Smiths Station High School, where I'm a Junior, but looks like a freshman. Just small for 16 erm.gif

Uh, I'm in the marching band, and I play the clarinet! We have almost 200 people, and growing still..and about 20 of us play DDR (3 on a daily basis, including me) Uhm...
Oh! I've been playing DDR roughly a year now, played my first on 7th (8?) mix in Panama City, FL for a contest (swept our class biggrin.gif) and ever since, I was hooked! Went straight to Light mode. Now, I can do middle 8 footers, practicing catas, and making that transistion of Standard to Heavy. I have little arcade experience; I can count the number of times I've been in a arcade on my hand. That and I don't have a car yet! (get ready Auburn, I'm coming!)

Hello to anyone who reads this thread. just joined. about me...
well, I'd consider myself pretty good at DDR. i guess. i can pass a couple of cata songs (Tsugaru, So Deep, Burning heat and some others) and i'm working on passing maxx unlimited. my main problem with that being leg stamina. anyway, i live in Northfield, Minnesota, and we're currently generating a veritable DDR community thanks to the efforts of myself and a few of my friends. of people i've seen play, i'm second or thirdish in skill. but i'm babbling. DDR is the cools.
