I know these aren't the NNR forums, but since there are no NNR forums I figured I'd ask the question here.
I've started adding in scores I do on home pad... what I was wondering if it is illegal to add non-arcade scores to NNR. I don't even have particularly good scores... it's just that I like seeing all my scores on the same page, getting challenges, etc. and I don't have the possibility of going to the arcade.
I'm playing on a crappy pad anyway so I think I'd get better scores at the arcade ^.^ _________________

I personally don't add them because the perfect window on home versions are larger than arcade, thus making it easier to PA on them...BUT! if that's the only way you have to play go with it. I don't see why not.. |

You aren't allowed to add scores to NNR from home, if you want all your home scores in one place use AIJ.
EDIT: You can't do it because NNR has a ranking system and you have an unfair advantage over people playing at the arcades. _________________

SMurphy: I don't see why you're "not allowed" to add scores from home... =\....it's not any different from the arcade grading system... |

Thats just one of the rules for NNR, because the perfect window is bigger thus making AAA's and AA's etc. easier. If you read AIJ they have a topic thats used for reporting users that are entering home scores among other things. After this stinkypoo deletes their accounts. _________________

It isn't mentioned anywhere on NNR that it's illegal. I'd also be very happy if you can show me anyone who can PA better than at the arcade on awful soft pads. _________________

HAHA!! That's what I'm thinkin yo...I am aweful on home pad...I mean once (if) I get a JPS2 and (if) I get Extreme for it...and I get a metal pad.. I would enter my home scores..Maybe..I doubt I would do any better than at the arcade anyway but who cares...it's not "illegal" or against any written rules. Some people are just retarded and like to be "in charge" and try and tell you what and what not to do (this excludes your mommy and daddy...and our oh so lovable DDRFreak Mods ^^) But yeah..I wouldn't worry about it...like I said before, if you wanna go ahead. |

Or what would be cool would be a section on NNR to enter home scores, since NNR is by far the best interface to enter scores Or you could specify whether it's home or arcade so home would compete against home and arcade against arcade. Not that I particularly care since I'm not a competition nazi, and like I said I don't see anyone doing well on home pads, but a home section would be nice so people wouldn't complain _________________

Then why don't you put in a request for a section dedicated to Home Scores only? You did know you can request Features and whatnot on NNR right? |

Nope. I'll check it out.
edit: I checked and if I'm correct it is no longer possible to submit feature requests. _________________

Well idk about no one doing better at home... I've AAA'ed some of the songs I've only sdg'd at the arcade and I've low sdg'd songs that I have gotten barely below 20 on at the arcade. Anyways I don't know if it says it on NNR, but idk why on AIJ they'd report and delete accounts because they are home scores ... I personally don't mind, idc about the rankings, but I think some people do. _________________

Well if I put AAA in all the songs and said that I'm better than the arcade guys I could understand some frustration on their part. I don't know if those are the kind of home scores that were erased or just any regular home score that no one cares about other that the guy who made it. I've seen quite a bit of people admitting to having home scores in their profile too... _________________

Ha! I'll show you! I'll input a bunch of scores saying I AAA'd Max 300, Maxx Unlimited, etc.
Go ahead; you'll only be the 3267th person to do so.

Maybe you get better scores on your home pad because you have a better home pad...not a "sandwich bag with wiring" taped down to a piece of plywood like I do...and possibly this other guy...but nonetheless it is possible that you have a much better pad...
w00t!!! this is my 500th post on DDRFreak!! oh yeah.....!(!) |

It's all well and good to put in home scores, as long as you make note of it in the song comments or in your profile to let people know, so they don't make bad assumptions.
If someone gives you guff about putting in home scores, ignore them. It's your account, not theirs, and they have no business flaming you for scores you actually did get, whether it's home or arcade. _________________

You can do what some people have done:
Example:
UserA
UserA (Home).
Therefore, the first username is where you input scores that you've gotten at the arcade. Where as the second username you use exclusively for your home scores. _________________

Ya, I used to mention it (playing at home) in my profile before SMurphy said it was illegal, then I removed it. I'll put it back though _________________
