|
|
I see machines, upgrades, etc. being sold online -- but no keys to the cabinets. The assistant manager at my local arcade has agreed to put on Joint Premium during his shifts if I can get a spare set of the keys (not even our regular manager has the keys -- only the owner and head mechanic, neither of which would go for this, have sets.)
The cabinet was originally a 3rd mix, and has since been upgrades to Extreme. However, I know the cabinet itself would still take a 3rd mix key.
Where's the best place to get things like this? _________________

every key is different. Just get the key from the head and go to an arcade supplier, they should be able to make copies _________________

The problem is that you said to get it from the head. The owner wouldn't put it on Joint Premium. The manager would. Two seperate people, owner is of higher power but manager has agreed to circumvent owner and do it anyway if I can get the key.
Therefore, I need to find a way to get a key that doesn't involve the owner of the machine in any way. _________________

A keysmith or by stealing/prying the machine with a crow bar.
You do realize that all arcade machine key's are different, dont you? _________________

If you can borrow the key, go to a key cutter/locksmith and he will be able to duplicate the key. Then you can be able to put joint premium up on the machine. _________________

Locks are not machine specific but everyone has said that already. For further inquires about arcade machines, check the DDR Arcade forum. _________________
