IIDX loading problems! (PS2)

I just got Swap Magic and Beatmania IIDX 7th style. The installation seemed to run without any problems, and the swap magic will load to the "insert disc" point. However, it won't load my IIDX (the red bar shows). My IIDX is new and right out of the box (not burned or anything). What do I do?!?!?!?

Make sure you're using the DVD disk to boot it, and not the CD.

Also, make sure the disc isn't caught on the little lip inside the tray.

Kyrandian- I am using the DVD disc. The "insert disc" screen comes up with the different flying colors around it.

Zvidun- I don't think this is happening, but I'll see anyways.

Any more suggestions?

the same happened to me. when it says to insert disc press and hold the eject button. u will have a couple of seconds to swap it with one hand before the tray closes on its own so be ready and be careful not to scratch the discs. now u can press x and it should load.
now if someone could help me with my rave discman

controller. it seems my ps2 isnt recognizing it. no buttons work.

Heres a little trick I use.

Before closing the lid and pressing start, spin your disc around with your finger. (perferable not fast) If it moves easily/fluidly then it should work. If it doesn't, your disc is probably tilted slightly, so re-adjust it.
