Hmm i've gotten that comment once when i was doubling to butterfly upswing mix 4th mix steps. They asked me if i was 1/2 korean and i was like O_o...... I'm mexican........

(looks at your post) It sure did happen! 
Anyway don't worry about it...things on the net shouldn't be taken TOO seriously...however...race issues especially on something like this can get racy and taken seriously at times...

I'm Vietnamese. I only know ONE asian guy who's better than me, and he's my friend. We started at the same time. I've been playing for two years. Most people I've seen that are better than me are NOT ASIAN. I think maybe why people say that you're good because you're asian is because a lot of people don't really know the dam game too much and can't even tell who's better than who. Maybe people make the comment because they see a lot of asian people play. I've already seen a couple of players play like, you know...stomping hard and crap like that to make it seem like they're playing a hardcore song when they're actually not, and people say," wow he's really good..." gosh...after all, it's all about skill, nothing else.

I tell my friend that "we're not Asian enough yet" when we fail a song, or "we're gonna be Asian soon" if we do well on a hard song. Just being funny and it's between just us so nobody gets to hear my racism.
A true Asian can triple A a song while solving triple integrals... cause y'all are good at math too right?  |

allllllrighty then...................this topic became interesting so I'll jump in...
One of the main reasons why I got rlly good (can pass with an A on Max 300, Unlimited, Legend of Max) was mainly due to my competitive side to become RLLY RLLY GOOD and also that motivation that I get from watching good players like Aaron and etc. and wishing that I was good like them. I'm Korean, and I enjoy showing off my skills...I just love to impress people...and I worked hard for it...maybe it's a genetical thing with Asian people that either makes them:
a. a fast learner
b. hard worker
c. perfectionist
d. self-centered
e. athletic
f. game lover
g. etc. etc. etc.
which is either true or not....but for me...I'm in the a, b, c, e, f, and g, category....the question is.....WHAT KIND OF ASIAN ARE YOU?!?!??!?! lol...
thats my word... |

...you know what kind of Asian I am? The kind of Asian that's SO MOTHERFUCKING SICK AND TIRED OF BULLSHIT like reading about how ASIANS ARE SO FUCKING GOOD AT THIS AND THAT BECAUSE THEY WORK HARDER THAN ANYONE ELSE. And don't give me that "genetics" crap because if that was the case, then we'd most certainly be considered the "perfect race", but we're NOT. So don't you DARE go around speaking for the rest of us Koreans, because we're NOT all like you.

Well...I don't know why people make fun of people just because they're Asian...but the world we live in now...relies on low self esteem and these people get kicks out of making fun of others because they have low self esteem and that's the only way they can feel better. So please don't worry about them...you're better than that.
I'm Hawai'ian...and very much mixed...so people have no idea what I am (Always a good thing!)
Anyway I'm glad that you're Asian...and not Azn....I'm part Asian myself however...
I am an Asian (part Asian ) Against An Azn.
Though I am pleased to say that my Japanese and Chinese side (The only Asian in me, isn't really prideful...or anything.
Just seems like the mainstream is trying to be "Cool" by "REPRESENTING YO!" or some crap like that when in reality it's making them look even dumber than they are now.

i do not know one asian who plays DDR i suck at the game i can only do 8 footers but i do not c y every1 always says they r good im thinkin cause they invented the game but y do ppl think they r so good at everything
