The fact is, only a very small number of songs have Hands. There are more songs with crossovers involving freeze arrows (Afronova style steps with freeze arrows), like Oasis, and Utopia.
Many people are complaining that drastic additions to the game cause it "to suck" and ruin the genre. All these changes have been added in moderation, and are designed to cater to a wider variety of players. There are extremely (read: ridiculously) difficult songs; but again, this only represents a relatively small part of the game. There are other difficulty levels, other songs, and in general, stepfiles have not been made for them, because people like to play ridiculously hard songs on Stepmania.
I'm confident in saying that if you like DDR to the degree that you are willing to pay to play it in the arcade, you will enjoy playing ITG, and be glad to see it show up in an arcade near you. |

I hope they make an ITG for Technomotion machines... it'd be nice to play a new music game with the features of Technomotion (and it'd get arcades to buy TM machines!) |

Still just the three test locations:
1) Illusionz
Issaquah, Washington,
2) 8 on the Break
Dunellen, New Jersey
3) Putt-Putt
Hurst, Texas
The game hasn't been released yet, but it should be soon. Roxor is being secretive about their projected release date, it seems. _________________

The "final" test version was installed on the Illusionz machine last Friday. It seems the final testing is primarily revolving around assuring that USB memory sticks are functioning as expected. |

Technomotion machines have 9-Panel, so that, and being able to switch between DDR-Style and PIU-Style steps was interesting. But it was incapable of rendering jumps correctly (it put them down as Tsugaru-32nd notes).
That, and numerous other peculiarities doomed it to failure:

Supposedly, somewhere in New York got it. linky Does that mean they're shipping? Or does that mean that there's been some sort of misunderstanding? (I hate rumors. ) _________________

Holy Flipersnippers!! I've been playing this game everyday for the past month, and had no idea that it was a pre-released test! I assure you, that this game, is greatness! it has, like 70? songs, and can get Maddening in difficulty... |

Narrows in Tacoma WA should have the kit by Labor Day weekend. The whole ITG team has done a great job in producing a great product the past 2 1/2 years. It's now finally time to see it in action! Content for the next version has been started and we will have a great sequel to the first version. | Yay for ItG shipping! Yay for ItG2! *dances*
Wait... 8-30... 2002?!?! ...probably just a typo. YAY! *continues dancing*
Now I just need to pester the arcades near me. *so hyper* _________________

I hope one of the lame arcades near me gets ITG. As of now it's just some crappy extreme plus bootleg. Maybe I'll have to make a trip to Jersey. _________________

They felt exactly the same when I played the test location in Hurst... so, unless it's changed since then, which I doubt, it should be the same.

Hehe, you should have started early... I've been bugging Tilt for a while, and we should be getting one of the kits very soon ^__^ _________________

I'd love to have started early, but the arcades that I frequent that seem likely to get it if pestered are all a minimum of 90 miles away from me right now. I'm home from school until the spring. _________________

Narrows does indeed have In the Groove. It cost a buck to play 3 songs or 4 on marathon mode. Sadly, though they got rid of PIU they moved an extreme machine to where PIU used to be.
Hopefully when they get rid of para para they will get a pop n music game |

Of course they are! They know it's going to be their number one game, so they have to keep releasing versions to keep making lots of money.
I've just heard that two kits are being shipped to California! HOORAY! ...but where? _________________
