I've noticed that in some posts people say they don't play anymore. And in some area's (MainlyRandom chat) I see people there but no where else on the board. So who doesn't play DDR anymore?
p.s-1. I still play, so I'm not trying to get people to quit.
2. Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, but I don't know where else it should go, so if you must, lock it.-
KEN.

I really don't play as much DDR because I have a lack of desire of playing it and it gets really tireing of listening to the same songs over and over again.

Now-a-days, I'm into other Bemani: GF, DM, IIDX and I'm into Initial D.

Yeah, most of the people you see posting in Random Chat, most of them don't play as much or at all.

i havent played much at all in the past couple months. i dont seem to have lost much skill, but it still is a bit lacking. most of my time is taken up with intial d v3, which, at the moment, is much more fun and addicting.

Hmmmmmm yeah same case...but for a month now and running...that's the longest span I've stopped playing DDR, ; Girls, skateboarding, Song writing, CVS 2 and Tekken 4 / Tag have been taking up my time...which I find same case ; more fun and addicting...there's just so many other options...cost effective as well. Because where I play DDR if I start playing again...it's $1.50 for 3 songs!! erm.gif

Random Chat has it's own little community, I would say the majority of the people who post there on a regular basis do not play DDR.

As for me, I've been playing weekly for almost 3 years now. I've picked up other Bemani games to keep my interest in DDR, but I doubt I'll continue playing as much if a new mix isn't announced/released in 2005.

I myself have not quit but I play 90% less now. I do standard and try heavy once and awhile. I just felt that it wasn't worth it to me to do heavy or try to get to that level. Some of my friends have and they still play. Some of them play to show off at the arcade but I have good foot work and can look much better than them any day. I work at an EBGames and I played DDR about 8-6 months b4 our arcade got DDR Extreme and now that everyone plays it I don't feel that I need to anymore. For me it feels like when DragonBall Z was cool way back in 1994/95 I loved it, now that it's pop culture I don't have as much interest. So really it's all the people around myselfs fault.

I only play at home with DDRMax1&2 ps2 and SM on my pc. I use to walk to the arcade all the time to play it. But now I don't want to. Ps. I am better now at heavy but I don't want to pay to play.

Seacrest Out.

I don't really play as much as I used to at home, I have DDRmax for PS2 and when you have the same song selections it gets boring. I haven't lost my desire to play at the arcade though.

I haven't been playing much, especially at home.

Ignition 2.0 + carpet + pitiful carpet area in my bedroom = no.

I've been into other games lately, like Super Puzzle Fighter 2, the Metal Slug series, and Daytona USA 2.

I (have) play(ed) In The Groove a lot more, recently at least.

DDR is still fun, I play it once in a while, but I even noticed that I'd be saying "Let's go to the arcade to play ITG" much more than I said "DDR".

I stopped playing about a year ago due to all of my friends that I'd play with leaving for college. I've recently started again at home but I play one or two games at most at the arcade on days when I have other things to do and am already in the area.

i play IIDX at home. i still play some DDR but not half as much as IIDX. I'm starting to get into PIU cuz of the same songs i keep hearing over and over. and DDR's getting boring to me.

Ehh... I rarely play DDR now, but I'm more into IIDX and racing games now. But I do play DDR at my house.

I don't play anymore because the two locations I did play at, one took out the machine and the other is set on very hard. I'll only be playing when DDR Extreme comes out for PS2.

I play games like ez2dancer and pump it up, but DDR's lost it's appeal. I still play doubles occasinoally, but it's too expensive to spend much time there in one go. I stopped playing when i got pop'n music happy.gif

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]
