|
|
I was browsing through levelsix.com to look for a new pad. I saw that the xbox pad was back ordered so I looked on ps2 section.
Well I found the same pad and heres what it lists that I have a question on.
Quote: | Deluxe model DDR dance pad
Compatible with PS2 and Playstation
Compatible with PC (when used with a controller adapter, such as the EMS USB adapter)
Compatible with the Dreamcast system when used with the DC Super Converter
|
Now since I own ultramix and plan to get ultramix 2 for xbox and extreme for ps2 I dont want to have to buy 2 mats for seperate systems. But if I have to wait more than a month to get a new pad that works I will.
But in that list it doesnt say its compatible with the xbox if you use the ps2-xbox converter. Is this true or did they just forget to put that in? |

I can't tell you for certain since I don't own it, but if it works normally on a PSX, it should work fine with the GameElements adapter. _________________

I was looking at levelsix to but it says that their psx-xbox converter has a delay on dance mats. Thats not good so i was wondering which psx-xbox converters wprk with no delay b/c i am i the market for one. And buying a dual mat is not an option right now. |

I recently bought an Ignition pad from BuyNShop that came bundled with a PS2->XBox converter, and I haven't noticed any sort of delay while using it on Ultramix. The adapter itself can be bought separately for $16.95. Here's the URL:
http://www.buynshop.com/productinfo/45/VG-XBX-PS2X/
The only problem that I noticed with it is that Ultramix can't recognize it as a dance pad, so it doesn't disable the other face buttons. Fortunately, OrderOfChaos said in the UM2 thread that UM2 will give us the option to disable them, so it won't be a problem going forward. |
