If your ddr hobby has become an obsession you might want to check this out:

Are You Totally Obsessed?
Totally Obsessed is a new series about people whose obsessions, hobbies and interests have taken on a life of their own. We are interested in people for whom the obsession encompasses every aspect of their lives. Rather than simple collections, we are more interested in how your collection has overtaken your life.

Each episode of Totally Obsessed will feature documentary-style profiles on three to four of our most obsessed people. Along with the three to four clips, we will include a number of "honorable mentions" - mini-clips of some of our other favorite obsessed folks and their stories.

Here's how the casting process works: we ask everyone to submit a 5-10 minute tape of themselves. The tape can be any format, and it need not be high quality. Basically, just set up the camera and talk. Perhaps take us on a tour of your collection, show us pictures, tell us some stories - whatever you think best communicates the extent of your obsession. Here some questions you can answer on tape:

How has your obsession manifested itself? Collection? Imitation?
When and how did your obsession begin?
How has it affected you financially?
How has it affected those around you?
What is the most drastic thing you have done to pursue your obsession?
How has your obsession affected your daily life?
Important question: Please describe a regular day for you
You must also include a signed copy of our release form with your tape. Click here to view the form and print it out.

Please also include your personal info including:
NAME
AGE
PHONE NUMBER
EMAIL
OCCUPATION

Send tape, signed form, and info to:

If you are cast, VH1 will contact you and send a camera crew to your house to tape you!

How ironic that you have to send a tape to MTV Networks and VH1 will contact you.

If only this show came out a year and 3 months ago. I would've signed up in a second, but now the obsession is fading. The show is pretty funny though because the people on there are TOTALLY INSANE!

FYI, MTV and VH1 are owned by the same corporate parent, Viacom. VH1 has always been a "sister" station of MTV, it's just not always been completly obvious in the past. CBS is also owned by Viacom, so if you ever wondered why you seem to see a lot of "Survivor" news on VH1 and MTV........

Anyway, I don't really watch either of those channels much anymore (okok except for I love the 80's). Sounds a little like the old MTV show "Fanatic" where they'd take the obsessed fans to meet the celebrity. Of course, this show has a different format and it's a good thing because if for some wacky reason DDR ever ended up on this show (which i highly doubt), I'm not sure what DDR "celebrity" one could meet. LOL.... "omg, emi, i'm such a huge fan of your moves..."

That's not what I was referring to, but thanks for the info anyway. I'm just saying if you're sending a tape to MTV..MTV should contact you, not VH1. Especially since it's a show on MTV.

I don't like either channel. Fuse aka MuchMusicUSA is where it's at.

Wow, I'm surprised there aren't any people jumping at this opportunity, or potential opportunity. I'm also surprised that someone was able to wade through the copious amounts of stupidity inundating these forums and was able to seriously make a post like that.

Ironic how the obsessed people are rolling their eyes at the thread. Regardless, I would send a tape, but I'm not obsessed at all, so it would be kind of pointless. Sometimes I wonder how I can even stand to come here, but not all the posters are immature twelve year olds (and not all 12 year olds are like this either) who have nothing of worth to say besides "OMG I LIEK THAT SONG 2" and "DDR IS GAYZOR". I know I'm rather cynical in my observations, but having read through many of these threads, I am amazed that even I was able to continue to visit this site for over a year. Meh, just ignore my hypocritical ranting.
