I just moved up to college and brought my DDR pad (naki w/ no led) and my EMS USB2 adapter and using it on my laptop. I plugged the device in, windows automatically installed the drivers for it and shows it being installed shown below.. When i goto control panel and try to configure or test the keys to see if i can get them to light up, there is no response no matter what keys I hit. I've tried doing the start+select+up numerous times and made sure that the adapter is on 'PC' mode.

here is a shot of the device manager showing that it is installed and windows says device is working properly.

shot of the adpater being shown in control panel

here is the 1st 'gamepad' being shown that shows that all the buttons are lit up, even tho none are being pressed at all. When I unplug my DDR pad from the adapter, all of the red lights here turn off.

here is the 2nd gamepad being show, allthe lights are shown as off and the cursor is always stuck in the bottom right. no matter what buttons i press on the DDR pad it doesnt light

Please help me..

This adapter and ddr pad worked great on my desktop computer at home when I used stepmania.
