Do you mean the bracket where the arrow is? Or the bracket where that 2 inch (i thinkink) piece is to stabalize the pad? |
Here's my problem, this is where the bracket it at. (blue circle)

and here's close up of that bracket
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v227/psmo290/AAA009.jpg
i'm currently using hot glue to hold the wooden piece that connects to the metal bracket down. I don't want to yank it out just yet cuz it's working fine but i have a feeling that the wooden piece right under the metal bracket will come out again. The wooden triangular piece of wood has 3 staples from a staple gun on them and they stick right into the main wooden board of the pad. Is this enough description
any suggestion to solve this problem. I was thinking about some wood glue or something, is this a good idea? |

Wood glue should work fine. You could also cut a new peice of wood and staple it like they did. |

but if i do that, it'll ruin the RO metal pad warrenty. I don't want to mess the whole thing up just for out little piece of wood. i can always glue it down. Hot glue is holding it for now, but it wont last long. I need wood glue. |

ok sorry about my last post. i was kinda confused on what you were talking about. wood glue works well but just some advice i don't think you should do anything with your pad before calling RO and asking if they could fix it for you. if you do they could call it "modifying your pad" and kill the warranty. i'm pretty sure wood glue works though so just ignore this post. i'm such a retard..... |

I'm not sure about RO. They might not charge you shipping fees. Like you'd pay for it to send the pad over...but then they'd pay you back. I dont' know about their policies though. If they do charge money then I'd just go with the wood glue idea. You could always find a really long screw and screw the triangle piece into the wood base of the pad....
Oh and does anyone know of any metal pad that doesn't have a wooden internal? I know CG doesn't and BNS i'm pretty sure doesn't. Just learned that RO doesnt....and i have no idea about the CF but almost positive it does. that's what the extra 100 bucks are for! plus the lucite panels.... |

dont have any wood glue. And yes they probaly will make you pay shipping for the pad :\.
Wood glue is pretty cheap at home depot i think. 3.50 for a bottle (better than paying 40 bucks to ship) _________________

Ive had my MMB pad for a few weeks now using it moderately and noticed a few screws comming lose on the top on the pad. When I tried to screw them back in they are not catching on the pad. The screw continues to turn but is not tightening.
Any help would be appreciated |

I already did this for someone else but it wasn't what he was looking for. Hoepfully it'll help you more than it did for him. The screw probably stripped the wood inside the pad. If you haven't done the sheet metal mod yet this would be a great time to do that too since you'll have to open up your pad for this fix too. here goes....
1. use wood glue to hold the screw in (would not recommend this method cuz u won't be able to open up the bracket ever again if it works)
2. (recommended) use a toothpick and break it into two or three pieces each about the length of the depth of the screw hole. then place them in the hole flat against the sides of the hole and screw the screw back in. the pressure of the screw will make new threads into the toothpicks so its like there never was a hole before. this trick works really well so try it. THANKS TO MY DAD WHO SHOWED ME THIS!!!! i used it on many stripped screws found in my CG pad from judysdeals so for anyone who buys from that seller on Ebay please remember that. |

I'm thinking of asking for a metal pad for my birthday. As I'm completely, utterly, hopelessly technologically inept, I really don't want one that I have to modify in any way, since I'd probably break it by doing so. I could probably ask for any one that's in between 150-250 dollars. What would you guys suggest? |

i have one and it works great, the arrows are still a little hard though. Anybody know how to make the buttons more sensitive and softer? |
