this was disscussed in the "what song is in the US mix" or something like that, i can't recall the excat name, but it's something like that.
Not having DDR US, I can't tell, but supposedly it's just a song just for lession mode i guess. _________________

Yes, I know. I already had repeated my question on that thread and got the info from El Bastardo. The song is called "Loop" and it's by Naoki and isn't playable on the game. But thanks anyway. _________________

Just FYI: universal PS2 is what mainstream sites call modded PS2's. They have a PS2 modchip in them and therefore probably won't handle import/backup (boo) PS1 games. It might also be cheaper to get a shop to put a mod chip in your current PS2. Check out the modchip thread (read the first post first!) for more info. |

Will these adapters allow one to use only 1 console with 2 tvs so 4 cn play at a time? I'm looking at using in a school and want to avoid buying so many consoles and game copies. TIA |

Alright, this is probably posted somewhere, but I'm just tired of searching all these sites for information! Gah!
Well anyways, I have the Fliptop/Swap Magic mods and my friend let me borrow DDR Party Collection (acctual import copy). Well it's a CD based game so I used the Swap Magic 3.0 CD Version, which on the main site claims it'll work with any version of PS2, so I assume that wouldn't be a problem.
So...
I can't get it to work, plain and simple. When I get to the main screen, I've tried both the normal boot, the special boot, and changing the screen style to NTSC (as what it says on the side of the game box), and still I get the red colored screen of rejection. Also out of desperation, I've tried the DVD disc to which doesn't work.
Another one of my friends says his works, and supposedly he has an older version of the CD-Version Swap Magic. So...have any of you come by this same problem, or have any tips or ideas or something? I'd really appreciate it, this is bugging me to my n00bish core
Well anyways, thanks ahead of time. _________________

From what i've been told on those ps2 bootdisks, there's like a ton of different versions of the ps2. I think currently there's like 13 of them and the more current ones will not take the any bootdisks or certain ones. I don't remember which version I have but it would take my ps2 dvd bootdisk and not my ps2 cd boot one. Well, one of my friends told me to get action replay, not the max one, and use 2nd disc to load my ps import games. For some reason I wonder if I try to use one of the 2 discs to load my ps2 cd boot disk. The one I used for my ps games didn't work, but the 1st disk loaded got my ps2 cd bootdisk to work and I got games like party collection up and running fine. I hope any of this info helps you Ryyudo. I know there's a site somewhere that talks about how to tell which version of the ps2 you got but it's been over a year and I forget where it was. All I remember is the number of screws on the bottom is suppose to help identify the version. |

ENDLESS MODE is a chalanging mode in DDR PC where like Workout mode(3rd mix - DDR MAX US) it selects one song after another endlessley. i kind of wished this mode was in DDR MAX US under oni | There was a PC DDR game, lol? If anyone has info or pictures of the game, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks | Japanese 3rd mix, 4th mix, Extra, Max2 and Extreme also have endless mode. _________________

Don't bother. Endless was dropped after Extra Mix, yet picked back up starting with MAX2. _________________

Why wouldn't it work if you had the CD version of swap magic??
Party Collection is worth it for Stars*** 2nd Naoki's Style by Terra. (Note, the stars in my sig is the same, but, not the same mix).
