PPP is definately not ghey or homo and is definately worth finding and playing. And to clarify when ur not in a PPP club in japan and just in a normal arcade, u dont have to follow the routines shown by the dancers on the screen. I find it fun, but then again i find all music games fun.

Holy crap. I didn't call the game gay. I love PPP. I'm saying that you should play it before you decide whether or not you like it. I have a lot of friends who are afraid to play the game because of how it makes you look when you play it. I personally don't care and I play it however I want to.

PPP isn't that rare (I don't think) because we have one in Tex'kana and in Dallas along with them being sold in the major online retailers.

I live in California, and would have to drive at least an hour or so (I think) to get to the nearest Para Para machine. =\

ok heres to kinda sum it all up happy.gif

ive been para para'ing for about 3 and a half years now and para para is a dance that originated in the 70's when groups of girls would go into clubs dressed like go go dancers and start doing routines to music that they would give to the DJ. Men in the clubs were told not to talk to these girls because they were dressed wierd and danced wierd. after a while people in clubs started liking the dance and clubs would teach them new dances. it died for a while and then in 1999 a group of girls names the Para Para All-Stars came along and totally blew everyone away with the renewed (they changed the style of it) dance and were in magazines and lots of TV shows and well you get the point =p now a new para para boom is coming this year because of the release of SEB 150.

but the game is just a poor excuse for konami to make money. i mean the gameplay is ok but way to easy but some of the routines are pretty hard happy.gif but konami also made bad sensors for it =/ konami only came out with 2 mixes for it because nobody really liked the idea anymore.

well i guess that sums it up happy.gif

It was more of a Konami made more than 2 mixes, but, we actually took the time to perfect the 2nd one..

PPP was OK, but 1.1 was a much needed fix, 1st PLUS could have been waited for 2nd mix (but, all of that stuff ended up on the home version). 2nd mix was increadably well done, but PPD was fantastic because it would let you put the sensors on backwards (letting you face the crowd.)

The notes in PPP are easy, but the main point of the game was to learn the routines, not just stick your hands in front of the sensors.

But if that's the way you want to play then go right ahead. It's their money and they can play the game however they want to.
