i think that it is a heck a lot easier to ddr when you are tired. i don't know why, but the only time that i've aaed tsugaru heavy is when i barely woke up. and also, i guess this is kinda off topic, but i think that if you put it on 1.5x, then the arrows right after the big jump freeze arrow that go jump, gallop, jump, gallop, jump, the jumps don't look exactly like jumps, they look like they are a little apart. has that happened to you?

They're not jumps. They are 32nd note gallops.

I find that I'm best at DDR at 3:00 or 4:00am. I don't know why. I played Twilight Zone, Ghosts, Burning Heat and Tsugaru and I AA'd all of them. I then proceeded to fall asleep on my pad. phew.gif

I guess it's easier when your tired b/c you're not thinking about doing it. Am I the only one who screws up the moment I think about stepping on the arrows? E19.gif

no, i'll do that too. usually it's easier to only half think about ddr and half think about something else.
also, i'm gonna check out the step charts for tsugaru. i have'nt gotten up to it yet because my family's computer is broken, so i have been using the ones at my library.

ok, now that i looked at the step charts i meant to say right after the gallops that are after the long freeze arrows. i'm not sure if you meant those or the gallops, because i know how to handle gallops. it's just the part after those that looked like jumps to me. riiight.gif

9pm-1am is my ideal DDR time probably because everyone else is asleep and all is peaceful. It also helps to eliminate any energy I may have left over.

I know quite a few people that took up playing DDR a lot to forget about what's depressing them. I think too much when I play therefore I can't use it for such a remedy, it's more damaging then helpful to me.

I don't know why, but I seem to play better in the evening. Once, I played IIDX right after I woke up and my timing was off.

Nope, happens to me too. Happened at the arcade when I was playing Drop the Bomb on heavy. I failed 'cause I started thinking (I'm so ashamed...)

Once, I completely zoned out while playing a song. It was odd, because I ended up with a AA and I couldn't even remember playing half of it....mysterious....

I think that happens to everyone. When you are not trying completely focusing on the steps and the song you do better. I know this because alot of AAA's (on controller E2.gif) were when i wasn't focusing on the song. In fact even not on controller I PA better when I'm not completely focused.

for me sometimes playing when I'm a lil sleepy is good for me because my mind is actually relaxed so in return I can PA a whole lot better than when I am full of energy...but it's been about a month and a half since I played when I was sleepy...
