Wow. Your choice of moderators amazes me, ddrfreak admins. "We don't really need (an informal survey)." There're topics that are many times 'less needed' that your 'moderators' allow. disturb.gif Your moderators abuse their power, to a great extent.

First off, "my thread's not as bad as some of the others" is not an excuse for breaking the rules yourself. I don't know what threads you're talking about, but feel free to bring them to the attention of the moderator(s) responsible for that forum. Next time you get pulled over for speeding, try telling the officer that the guy next to you was going faster, and see if he cares.

Second, why did your thread need to exist? Did it convey information that people couldn't get anywhere else? Sure, you might have specific information about your arcade which the machine locations database doesn't handle, but after ten-fifteen responses to that thread, it'd be an unsearchable mess and wouldn't really help anyone.

Third, I didn't say anything to you or about you personally, so don't try to portray this as a grudge or anything against you. I didn't give you any warn points either. So it's not like I maligned you at all.

I closed your thread because it duplicates information that we have elsewhere on the site, and is otherwise just an excuse for people to postwhore.

You take one example (and a bad one at that) and apply it to all of us.

As already stated, if you have a problem with the moderator, take it up with them in PMs. If you feel that won't be helpful at all, PM me.

The thread should have been locked, because it is either pointless to anyone outside of your region (and so it would be better in a regional forum) or it's just plain pointless (due to the machine location ratings).

I've seen more examples of moderators powers being handled poorly. The moderator in question has already responded to me and answered my queries. You can loXOXor this. Thank you for your feedback.
