Bar Rape Revolution

About 19/20 of the people who i see play now hold onto the bar with both hands through the entire song on every song they play. And they STOMP on the arrows hoping to get a better score. It actually hurts the ears they stomp so hard. I think that it's necessary to cut off the bars and to force them all to wear pillow cushioned shoes to ensure the safety of the machine. Or maybe i should just put a giant condom on the bar, considering how much it gets raped. There's gotta be a lot of DDRSTD's going around with all the rapage.

On an unrelated note, i beat two of the 10 footers without any bar touching

You know, as much as I hate bar-raping, I can deal with the fact that people choose to do it. Fine, whatever. But then I see the PA'ers out there that stomp as hard as they can in the attempt to do better, and I cringe. They stomp and stomp, and then wonder why the sensors are all dead in the machine. I have actually had the displeasure of playing after a PA'er (who was very good at it) that stomped hard enough to kill three of the 16 total sensors over the course of three songs (4 sensors per arrow, playing singles). Yes, those people need to learn respect for our machines. I see them stomping the machine and it makes me want to stomp their face.

Sorry, had to rant. I feel better now.

I used to rape the bare during my first month of playing DDR, then I realised that I'm far more flexable on the pad and I can beat harder songs without holding on to it

I used to use the bar untill I popped out my thumb on it once

Now I feel a lot more relaxed since I dont use the bar and also playing doubles feels a lot less foreign.

I'd have to say that those who stomps mudholes on the pad annoy me a hell of a lot more than bar-rapists (it sounds better than bar-"raper", IMO). Bar-raping only damages one's chances of developping better balance, but that's all. It doesn't damage the machine. But when someone stomps on the arrows like a sledgehammer would hit on them, I absolutely hate it. It means that I'll have to do the exact same thing to play properly...

any way the bar is there same with speed mods so you can use it lets not argue about it jumping with the bar is alot harder than doing it no bar if you can do it w/o the bar you are better off besides raping is bad

I use the bar when i'm PA'ing or trying to do well on something like Max300 or PSMO, but not for every single song i ever play. What happened to just playing the game for the fun of it once in a while, and not starting to cry if you don't AA every song? The pads at the place i play respond to even a light tap so there's no need for stomping. Even an 8 year old kid there full comboes Max300 without the bar. (he weighs like 70 lbs)

Reign, you're retarded. you might want to read what i wrote in the first place. I said that 19/20 people use it for EVERY song, EVERY time. If you read it at all, you'd see that i never said i didn't use the bar. I do use it about once every 15 songs though. You didn't pay any attention, so now you look like a jackass... nice job
