sure... real cheap ones...

I get more bass out of my headphones.

I wouldn't even call it bass. More like an annoying noise that try's to destroy my ear.

I for one think there should be bars on the side that the player puts down while they are playing so no annoying kids try to run on the pad while I'm trying to beat Trick Oni. frust.gif

The hardware seems fine now, but a cool feature would be full length song courses. Maybe also the ability to turn off BG animations.

If only there was going to be a new ddr release, full length versions of songs would be cool, like 3-5 minute songs. You can do that yourself on stepmania, but it would be cool in the arcade.

acually they are pretty good subwoofers, its just that the arcade owner/manager can turn down the bass and volume. i work at the arcade i play in so i usually turn up the volume and bass when i play, and then turn them back down as to my managers taste

I agree with the people who say real speakers and sub woofers. When I first saw a DDR arcade mix I thought the big things on the bottom were speakers... Imagine my shock when I realized that they just blink pretty colors. frown.gif

I think that a slot for PS2 memory card is needed. Our extreme machine has a slot for PS1 memory cards...but grr, I want some PS2 songs.

Actually, a built-in queueing system would be brilliant. Not sure how it would be implemented, but it would be cool anyway.

my arcade has a coin line added onto the machine. it's just a little thing with groves for coins and numbers 1-8. we go through the line until we get to 8 and then go back to 1. none of the pics of my scores have it in there...I'll see if I can take one sometime (maybe get the pic of our memory card slots to show off too E15.gif )

All future machines should consist of built in fans that pump out 400 cubic feet of air per minute. Good bye sweat!

They should make a card machine to add on to it, like in F-Zero AX, you pay an extra amount of tockens/quarters and you can put your record or whatever on it...

DDR should have it's own power amp! Think about it, more and better speakers, cooler lights; better experience. They should also put... not like... big obnoxious fans... but something air circulating within the mechanism... I dunno. Surround sound would be cool, might help keep other games from getting distracting... A bigger screen'd be cool too, not too much bigger though...

I played on a DDR machine that had a cup holder and a small fan about the size of a frisbee on each side. It was pretty okay. AS far as new add ons. I don't know I guess it would just be more to screw up. Maybe a card reader? Oh and most of the machine I played on had great sound and awesome bass. It just all depends on the volume and condition of the speakers.

Ehh, thats odd, I can use my love shine edit in the arcade which is a PS2 song. YOu need to convert the file to PS1 and put it on a PS1 card E10.gif.
