my boyfriend acually broke his foot on ddr about 6 months ago.... the person before him cracked the 1st player left arrow and when he went to go play he slammed down his foot it went right through. as for me, i was playing ddr for about 5 hours when i decided to play RnP on standard. 30 seconds into the song i had a really sharp pain on the top of my foot. it was killing me, but im such a ddr freak that i kept on playing everyday. i still have a lump on the top of my foot where there shouldnt be one, and it happened like a month ago. it still hurts but i still play....
Ouchu for your boyfriend.. hope he didn't have to buy a new panel and light...
accually thats how we met.... since he didnt want to go back there right after he got all healed up he came into the arcade where i work...... and weve been together ever since..... |

Awwww.... isn't that sweet Gotta love when DDR brings ppl together. I really don't thing there is a chance that that would ever happen for me... mainly because there are so few girls that play DDR. I know there are a few at the arcade where I play... but they all seem way younger then me. We used to have weekly DDR Parties... that place I actually had a chance... but most of the ppl who where there were seniors in HS and have all went away to college now... Never to see them again
And about the cracked monitor... I would have flipped outta bout that. Threatened to sue the arcade or something cause they actually let the violence happen. You could be filthy stinkin rich. J/k... ppl who sue are just lazy But you should have fought the whole thing about having to pay for the screen! Ida been pissed! _________________

sounds like you're just making stuff up.
I'm a hack at DDR so after the first few songs of the day my left leg gets locked up a bit and hurts a lot (I put too much pressure on it). Once I get into the flow everything is fine and dandy. I threw out my back rearranging my room for a home theater system and that's keeping me from playing. |

Without a doubt.
To stay on topic, my latest problems are just lack of breath after playing witch doctor. Not that hard of a song, just to many 16th notes. What ticked me off last night was doing nonstop and getting witch doctor as my first song, then across the nightmare. With out a break in between I failed. I think now ddr is more of a physical limitation. I'm worried about all this stomping I do in songs like witch doctor when the 16th come up to try and stay on beat. I guess it's just like any other thing in ddr now, it will get easier when I do it more. Nevertheless, I think witch doctor is hard for a 8 footer, there are a few 9 footers much easier than that. |
