Does anyone have a site with all the codes/mods/options for Techno Motion. Going to play tonight and I don't know the mods for it.

Thanks

Technomotion.co.kr has codes. IMO, the only good song on it is WA!

it has more good songs than just that... it's just that you prefer different style of music... which leads me to this question... why is the game called Technomotion when it hardly features any techno?! lol

They should have gone with the obvious and named it Dance it Up. Ha ha.

And Matt, if you figure out what on earth Bus mode is, please tell us.

The codes should be on the machine itself.

We used to have one of those at an arcade here. It wasn't in the best of shape but I used to hop on it every once in a while just for a chuckle. The engrish in it is hilarious. The best part was when you would get an "A" on a song it would scream out in this ultra-engrish voice-

"Yeaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh! Very goooood!!!!!!"

I laugh out loud just thinking about it...

could someone record videos of this game being played with videos of the interface and what not?... It'd be real nice to see the game in action.

There's a Techno Motion at Harrisburg East Mall that I used to (still do once in a while?) play. It can be fun if you don't have a DDR anywhere near you.

It's not near as difficult as DDR, but the hard songs are somewhat challenging. They rate their songs on a scale of 1 to 12 diamonds. How does it translate? I'd say the 2 hardest songs in the game, Staring At The Sun and I Am Garbage, are approximately equal to 9-footer difficulty if you use the Expert mod (to get special stepcharts of that difficulty). How hard, comparatively? I Am Garbage on Hard (without the Expert mod) is like Irresistiblement on crack.

Techno Motion is made by F2 Systems. The official Techno Motion website can be found at http://www.f2.co.kr/technomotion/ where you can read up on the specs, songlist and codes, and check out their (if slightly difficult to understand) stepcharts. Unfortunately, there are no stepcharts for the Expert level; you'll just have to figure those out yourself.

I'd also like to know what in the world the Bus mod does (the only help the official site offers is that it's "selectable during rush mode"). If anybody has a clue, do tell.

I never could get Rush to work on TM, much less Bus.. the problem is, the machine LISTS all these dozens of codes on the front, but it never says just how to do them all. (I think it did lay out how to do the basic ones, though.)

TM had an Expert mode? Was it something like Crazy, I'm hoping?
Because compared to Pump, Staring at the Sun and Trash Man/I Am Garbage were still jokes(especially considering the psychotic steps Trash Man has on Crazy). Definetly the toughest from TM though.

You put in the codes at the song selection screen. I think one code that I played was up-right, up-left, down-right, down-left, center. I think..... not sure. You'll see the code come up on the side and hear a sound. I played this sad, sad game a while back when NorthpointMall in GA had it and not DDR..... it was horrible, but it was the only thing they had until DDR 8th. If you have a chance to play this game.... DON'T.

Staring at the Sun and I am Garbage were crazy on Expert. I could barely pass it and I pass everything on DDR. You also have to look at which mode you are playing on.... DDR mode (4-arrows), PIU mode (5-arrows), or TM mode (8-arrows).... to determine the difficulty.

I love Techno Motion E10.gif

Bus is ony slelectable during Rush, and even then, it only works sometimes, because sometimes, you'll just turn rush off instead of turning on Bus. Bus speeds up the music x3, Rush does x1.5 or somthing and there is Rush x2 (which speeds it up x2). I'm pretty sure those all mean percents though, not actuale multiple times of speeding it up........there is also a Bus x2, which i could never get to work. And also, up-left, up-right, down-left, down-right, center is the code for Rush/Bus E1.gif

I still love TM tough......and I always will riiight.gif

I have technomotion 2 miles from my house and I hate the game. I played the hardest song on the hardest difficulty in DDR mode. It was called Starring at the Sun (I like the song too), and I SDGed it first try. Well I really shouldn't have, its just really light on the grading. I'm not THAT good at DDR. I have some AAs, a few of which are 9 footers and can pass paranoia survivor and max 300, but technomotion provides no challenge at all. The song that I played, I would rate it at an easier 8 footer. a few basic streams is the hardest part at like 170bpm. Oh, its also hard to tell if you are supposed to hit a double or not. I got my non-perfect steps from wondering if what I saw was really supposed to be a double. I kinda just gave myself a safe medium of two quick steps. I'm not trying to brag, because I'm really not good at DDR, but if you can pass 9 footers in DDR, technomotion will not be fun at all because it isn't much of a challenge. If you still play light or standard, it may be fun to try out the new songs and listen to the engrish though tongue.gif

There is a reason Techno Motion doesn't really provide a challange for DDR players. As when DDR first started out, it had NO challanging songs AT ALL (compared to today's standards), thus is the same with Techno Motion. TM only had 2 mixes, therefore, no time to make sickly hard songs. DDR's 2nd Mix didn't have any hard songs either, so just look at it that way.

I hear that Trash Man on TM is tons harder than the PIU version - simply because the PIU version is the hard version of TMs steps...
