TM has 9 panels. There's a 4 panel mode that uses U,D,L,R, 5 panel that uses UL,UR,DL,DR,C, and 8 panel that uses all but the center. As far as I know, there's only 8 and 10 panel doubles; no 16 panel.

So, yeah, kinda.
