I'm pretty sure you can't. That's a feature of the DTX file format, not the GDA format. GDA follows Drummania too well (one of the reasons I prefer DTXMania... I like being able to play like I have a real drum set). The DTX file format was designed to assume that you have a DTXPress setup (or the equivalent).
EDIT: Ooooh, looks like version 054 of DTXMania just got released... *downloads* I WISH I HAD ACCESS TO the DTXMANIACS DOWNLOADS. (Imagine, full-length DTX files with background movies... *sigh*)

You can make the open hit hat and bell cymbal notes in a DTX file by holding control when you input the note in GDAC.
I have all the DTXManiacs videos. They're really really cool and well done. Kudos to Jinnai.

| I remember seeing an image of someone putting tennis balls onto an old keyboard and using it for Pop'n Music simulator. To do this you would need to redefine keys, but I'm having trouble doing that. Does anyone know how to redefine keys in Feeling Pomu?? Help is much appreciated! |

BemaniaDX only supports up to 200 bms so if you have more than that (and you probably do if you have the another bms') then you're going to have to decide which ones you want. Another thing you could do, though I haven't tried this, is create another BemaniaDX program. I'm pretty sure that would work just so long as each BemaniaDX is in it's own folder. |
there's a better beatmania emulator straight from japan "nazobms" it's faster, smoother, prettier, supports folders for organization, courses, and infinite songs, it's the stepmania for beatmania ^^

like i said it's straight from japan, so getting it to work will take some... trial and error, but the menu is fairly intuitive despite being completely illegible

Is it possible to use my DM2 (Digital Music Mixer) Turntable Controller in BeatmaniaDX? The driver is installed and it works in the DM2 program but when I go to the options menu in DX it won't let me configure the buttons. Does the DM2 Turntable Controller work in any other Beatmania IIDX sims?
