Well - as sad as this may seem to all of you there are some song Genres that don't work for DDR:

- Rock
- J-Rock
- Punk
- Metal
- Alternative
- Goth

Why? Because the music simply isn't dancable. Sure, you can mosh to most of it...but there aren't really any good dance grooves in those types of songs.

DDR is mainly focused on Pop, J-Pop, Eurobeat, Disco, Dance, Techno and Trance.
