now I wouldn't expect you to know that since you've got roughly 20 posts. I myself have about 750 or so...haven't checked in awhile so it's almost assuradely higher, but at any rate, I'm used to flamebait at this point. there wasn't any need to single out my opinion, though I can understand why you would point out my joke (it's an old one, by the way). please calm down, you didn't need to do all of that to state your opinion, seeing as you ended up agreeing with me anyway. |
Hihi Syncognition.
You know that John Sheridan guy? He goes by JSB and AAAed MaxX Unlimited? The guy who your mocking for lack of experience is his competition in the finals of tournaments in Southern California. He knows this webpage and DDR alot better then I do (and checking my all-important stat: post count, I know it better then you).
Respect, it's whats for dinner. _________________

Concise? A four paragraph response to 3 lines? I wouldn't call that concise. Besides, a lot of people on the internet don't pay attention to words/letters they leave out because it's an informal setting. If you're going to jump on someone for failing to add "n't" and some punctuation, you better capitalize your first word.

I took that and made what would normally be considered a "joke" out of it. had I been serious, you could've counted on seeing "learn some f*cking english!" instead of a lighthearted poke. |
What's normally considered a "joke" to some is often not considered a "joke" to others. For example if I said "You're the biggest fag I've ever seen" to you, you may take offense, whereas if I said the same thing to my friends, they would realize it was a joke and probably laugh. Seeing as you are from opposite sides of the country and you eagerly shot down his reply, I doubt you guys are too close.
Quote: | and you took my comment out of context. please do not do that, it's pretty annoying. when I say "who the hell cares?" it has nothing to do with my reason for posting or anyone elses reason for expressing their opinions. I was saying that the ratings are fairly pointless after a certain point. that was my opinion. these threads have been made over and over again, and it always comes to the same conclusion: konami gave it the rating. if they see a reason to change it, they will like they have done with other songs in the past. |
Yes, and then you went on to talk about why you think it should be a 9 based on difficulty. Why not leave it at the first part? My point was that if you are saying that all the talk about why it should or shouldn't be a certain level based on skill is pointless, then why are you adding your opinion on that basis?

Wow. Postcount = intelligence. I haven't heard that in a REALLY long time. If this is all flamebait, and you're so used to it, why are you replying? A message board professional such as yourself should realize that it isn't a good idea. And calm down? Was I agitated before? I mean, once someone says I don't know anything because I have a low postcount it tends to irritate me a bit, but I wasn't really irked or anything before. How do you know I wasn't just "joking" with you? Surely somewhere in your 750+ posts you've seen an exchange similar to this. I know I have. But all that being said, please enlighten me senpai. I would much appreciate your help on my path to becoming a ddrfreak forums guru as yourself. |

Please refrain from flames. There was no accusation made, and I believe you're all taking things a bit too seriously here. I've PMed a mod. Perhaps you understand at this point (as I have with my own posts, I wouldn't be surprised if I got a point or three) what you have done wrong. There was no mocking and I don't appreciate the accusation.
I'm supposed to know that's JSB from his username eh? I was under the impression that the user was new here, so I reacted in my own way accordingly by stating that certain things shouldn't be done on a message boad, like flamebait, which is everpresent in a great deal of the posts I've seen in this thread.
At any rate, I don't bow down to someone for their skill at an arrow stomping game. My opinion has not changed about the subject of the thread or the people who derailed it (myself included, I'm still an arrogant ass).
