For the version in solo 2000, how close does it sound to the original version by Belini or the version in DDR MAX 2? I just heard the remake in the nonstop megamix on DDR FREAK, and i was dissapointed . _________________

The one on Solo 2000 is different from the one on Max2 and the original, they are all different I do believe. _________________

Other than the chanting in the middle of both songs, they have very little similarity. The Solo 2000 version is geared more towards making you get off your ass and move, while the MAX2 version is trance-based and is better-suited to just chill out to. _________________

Their melody is almost entirely the same. MELODY, not SOUND. |

I've listened to both Samba De Janeiro and Trance De Janeiro.
They are very different, but the meliodies are basically the same.
The only thing is that in Samba, The melody is all half notes, and in Trance, there are quarter note triplets in place of half notes. They take up the same amount of space in a measure, but you hear 3 notes instead of 1 long one. _________________
