I dunno if someone already posted this...but anyways. I was watching tv a while ago...and Bedazzled was on. When the guy gets turned into the big basket ball star (I caught this movie like in the middle I dunno the character names) but when he's playing bakset ball tribal dance is playing in the background...it was kinda cool nerd.gif

On Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen(Don't ask why, but I watched it...) but I'm not sure if it was a DDR machine. It was like all the pads in a circle formation, and It didn't look like a DDR, but in the commentary it said it took them a few hours to learn it on the DDR machine, so, can someone clarify if it was in fact a DDR machine?

Holy crap, on my sattlelite radio(sirius) on the strobe(disco channel) GET OFF is playing, but it's the original still very cool though.

Thats because Kakumei is a remix of a classic song like Speed Over Bethoven and End of the Century.

Has anyone ever seen the Jean Reno movie called Wasabi? Jean Reno is the same guy that played Leon in The Profesional. He was also in Mission Impossible, Ronin, Godzilla, and a bunch of other movies. Anyway, in the movie Wasabi, Jean was in Japan and this japanese girl took him to an arcade where there were a bunch of teens playing ddr. The teens even got Reno on the machine and he started playing. It was obvious that he wasn't actually playing the game but it was still a really funny scene.

I watched that movie, maybe a month ago, just cause I heard from here that there was DDR in it. Turns out I actually liked the movie. I was surprised, though, when the guy's sidekick told the kids to do crossovers ("Cross your feet!", or something like that). Appears someone on the set knew how to play...

Damn people. Stop posting aobut songs you saw/heard like V, Heaven, Kakumei, and Love at First Sight.

If they were real songs before DDR, it's "OMG you saw a song that DDR used or licensed".

This thread would be half the size if ppl had a clue.

The point of this thread is to post about where DDR showed up. That company that put Love at First Sight on the movie soundtrack probably didn't do so because they liked DDR. In fact, they probably don't know what the hell it is. Likewise, I'm not about to go see that movie or listen to some radio station because they played a song that was around before DDR used it. Let's keep it in the proper scope. If DDR, or something truly DDR related shows up on south Park, etc, then yes, I want to hear about it so I can see it and laugh. If your uncle's cell phone has a ringtone that sounds like V, be quiet.

I'm with clubbinguy. DDR uses mostly dance songs that other artists made or remixed.

I heard Sakura coming out of someone's earphones behind me in line for the bathroom at a break in the Evanescence concert at Jones' Beach. Why they brought a CD player to a concert, with DDR in it no less, I'll never know.

P.S. EVANESCENCE OWNS.

the original twilight zone is very popular with stadiums and sports arenas, and it is common, as is tribal dance, but those are jock jams CD tracks.
