Hi. I'm called AuntieM because I'm old enough to be your auntie or at least your much older sister. I'm probably as old as ddrmom at least, but I don't have the excuse she has for playing ddr. My kids (9 and 7) are too young to compete. However, they still do better than me. I won't even tell you how sorry my performance is.
But I have to say to you young whippersnappers - keep it up. DDR is really good for you (except for the cost of playing in arcades!)
I'm wondering - has anyone here lost a lot of weight with the game? I've seen the testimonials and news articles, but I was hoping to get a feel for the experience of people using these boards. _________________

Yowsa, limpbizket! I've noticed from some of the videos that the winners are kind of, shall we say, very fit looking. (skinny)
How many hours a week do you practice? How about everyone else? I've been playing about 5 hrs/week for the last two months but I've only lost a few lbs. But I have a feeling that some of you are a little more compulsive. _________________

Greetings, everyone. I am ZeroZeroOne. A 25-year-old From Toronto, Canada. I got introduced to DDR a few years ago. Since then I lost a total of 60 pounds since then. I gained a bit since getting an office job, but getting back down to ideal weight. An ideal play consists of $10-15 a day, 2-4 days a week, playing nothing but heavy mode.
It's nice meeting everyone here. _________________

Heyo everyone
My name is Jimmy and as you can prolly guess im a fan of DDR. I haven't been playing that long and im prolly not as good as even 70% of the memebers of this forum but oh well. Before i tried it i thought DDR was really easy (boy was i wrong ) (hey is that emoticon the female cocky laugh? "Ho ho ho ho"? lol). But ever since trying it with a group of friends ive been hooked i even bought a dance pad and DDRMAX2 (shoulda taken MAX1 heh).
All of my friends and I have a real blast playing together even though all of us can only do maybe 5-6 footers. I can pull off 7-8footishs on standard with no MODS on the songs.
Well personal biography on my DDR experience aside I hope to get to know these forums pretty well so see you guys around _________________

Hello all!
I am Dan da redhead. I doubt very many people will read this, b.c i sure didn't have the patience to read through them all (only got to page 2). I was one of those kids who thought DDR was a dumb game... of course at teh time, i had never tried it. First time and i was hooked. Now, my main goal in life is to be that 40 year old DDR player known only as RED, who beats all the young whipper-snappers at their own game(b/c it will take that long to get good at the game), but then i'm sure there are already people just like that. But what can i tell the DDR Freak community that they don't know. I am a 14 year old Ohioian who has aspirations of world domination, but once again, who doesn't? I love Star Wars, sarcasm, and am learning to play guitar. I won't say much about my DDR skills, b/c even as I like to think they are good, i know I wouldn't stand a chance against anyone here. Well, cyall in about 26 years : )
P.S.-I don't like smileys unless they are just the collon and pharenticy(or spelling for that matter) _________________
