That sounds pretty arrogant. Theres plenty of good people out there. They don't have to be the best. Anyway, if you want to make a team, it doesn't really have to be official. Just get a bunch of DDR players and ask them.

Well, you can hardly start a team nowadays for the following reasons:

1- DDR is rarely seen as an opposition game anymore. People tend to play it individually (from where I am, that is).
2- Most of the time, if there's no team in your parts, there will obviously be no opposition whenever that team will be made. Thus killing one of the main reasons one would want to form a team.

However, if all you guys wanna be is a bunch of people who share their interests for DDR, then all you need to do is ask people. Who cares if they're not the best? I wouldn't...

What is your opinion of the best?

If you won't settle for anything else, then you are going to have problems, becuase the best is one person. You have to settle for people who are really good, not the best.

You really haven't seen the best have you? There's people out there who can AAA eveything... those people are just... insane...
And yeah, if you're gonna keep talking like "I won't play with you unless you can AA everything"... you're not gonna have a lot of people that like you... not to sound rude or mean, but I seriously wouldn't play with somebody with that attitude.

Chipp, no offense, but you are sounding rude. You're saying that people who can't AA everything aren't worth your time?

Most of us here aren't 'worth your time.'

Geez...

Okay, let's take this one step at a time.
Being selective about the skills of the members of your team is all well and fine. I'll leave you to do that in peace. However, you cannot simply blow off the second best player in the world and dismiss him as being a "waste of your time." If you know about Yasu, you know about Take. That's a given. If you don't know about Take, go pore over through Aaron in Japan a bit more.

Hell, if you don't know about Take, you're probably not even qualified to call anyone, least of all him, a "waste of your time." And for someone whose time is obviously so important that he can't do some research about the DDR players in the area he lives in, you have horribly low expectations from "the best."

You think being able to AA everything constitutes "the best"? I would be GOD if it did. Rob Stevens (EDIT: or someone of comparable skill) would be creator of the universe. Yasunori Ueki would be the Big Bang, and Takeo Ueki would be the set of all conditions which triggered the Big Bang, since he's AAAed almost every song on DDR EXTREME. I don't even want to get into what JSB would be, since he has AAAed every song on DDR EXTREME. (And before anyone asks, yes, I AM aware of the Colombian superstars ONIO and ONIR, I just couldn't think of a larger hierarchy in which to place them.)

There are very clearly defined lines in the DDR-playing population. There are the average players, there are the good players, who can get A's on the 10-footers and AA/AAA just about everything else, and there are the elite players, who can AA or AAA everything. There are disproportionately few 'elite' players in existence, although there may be more or less in your region, depending on where you live. Because there are so few of them, most of them are at constant odds with each other. There's almost no chance that you're going to be successful at uniting all of them in any given region into one mega-conglomeration of a team, and the chance that does exist becomes exponentially smaller once we take your glittering social/charismatic skills into account.

Oh, and for the record...if you really do live in Massachusetts...
All the good players in the New England area are either already taken, or are decent enough not to affiliate themselves with someone like you. Fix your attitude and you're set to go. Otherwise, you may as well give up your prospects of forming a team, because a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.

And if you don't fix your attitude, you WILL be the weakest link. Goodbye, and have a nice day.
