what exactly does this error message mean? and why do i get it when trying to change my avatar?

It pretty much means that you're attempting to change your Username to something we have in our disallow list [don't know if we even have anything though].

Although, you're only changing your avatar? O_o.

Thanks for pointing out that the filesize of your avatar is too large, by the way. Max filesize for avatars is 8k.

The error messages means that we have certain names that we don't allow. You are trying to use one of them.

As for why you are getting it while trying to change your avatar, no idea. Maybe you were trying to change your avatar and name at the same time?

You got that error message because when you registered, your username was allowed, but since then, we have added more banned usernames. You current name matched one of those conditions. However, I have deleted it, and it should work again.
