What is your favorite Arcade mix?

extreme, duh it has like 150 songs and an original version sort. plus it has an 8 step oni mode 4 butterfly and it wuz the first arcade machine i ever played on. now i go back to main event once or twice a week (its got that ddr extreme and its like 5 minutes away from my house)

Extreme actually has closer to 250 songs.

My favorite is Extreme, of course. Song variety and challenge + Oni and Nonstop modes = win. I honestly don't see how anyone can prefer any other version... except maybe 5th MIX, my second favorite due to the large amount of classic Dancemania songs, the excellent 5th MIX exclusives and the smooth graphics. I also love MAX and MAX2, but there's no reason to put them over Extreme because 95% of their content is in Extreme.

I like extreme because it has many songs from the different DDR Mixes and songs from beatmania, drum freaks, and all those other Bemani games.

The Best Mix gots to be...3rd Mix KOREAN cus then they got all the best songs...also 4th Mix is a must play!!!

DDR MAX's okay cus then they got new modes...
DDR MAX2 must be the worst mix...too dark
Extreme...of course is quite impressive...like wat my friend Cary said, "since there are too many songs...it makes the game boring".

I like extreme, 5th, and Solo 2k(has all the songs from bass) and Solo 4th Plus.

I don't play favorites, but the BEST mix was 3rd Mix, a lot of the really great songs that everyone loves to play came from that mix. Plus, i started playing DDR on a 3rd mix machine so it plays a special place for me.

I have been playing DDR for about 6 months now. I can pass all 7s, 8s, and a lot of 9s(not all though). 10s: 2-Sakura and Paranoia Survivor

Heavy AAs: 32. Most recent: Mahou No Tobira

Way better at Stepmania, have about 300 heavy AAs, 500+ AAAs

Id say 7th Mix and and Extreme it doesnt really matter those are the only ones that i have played in the arcades

Our arcade went from a 5th mix to an 8th / MAX2 to an Extreme, and I must say I like the extreme the best. The variety of song choices allows for a different game every time I go up to play, unlike at home where it starts to get repetitive after a while

. The interface also looks and feels a lot like the home version.

I think I would have to say 7th, because it has most of the songs I like with 6th following closely behind. (because of Bye Bye Baby Balloon)
If only there was a version of 4th+ with 60 fps and speed mods :D

Extreme just doesn't blow my whistle (bad pun). No Justify My Love, Stay, Trance De Janiero, Look at Us, A Minute, Drifting Away, More than I needed to know?!

The only thing I admire about EX is the new IIDX songs, and the return of a few old favorites (R&P, Dam Dariram) As far as new licenses go, they pretty much insulted us. We Will Rock You, La Copa? ick.
The first time I played EX, I went to the S's to look for Stay and wanted to cry when I found the organic house mix crap. IMO, a lot of the songs from other bemani just feel like filler.

Ok, so maybe I'm being a bit overdramatic. It just saddens me that Extreme is EVERYWHERE, and a lot of people have no choice to play anything but EX, so of course many of the new players don't have an appreciation for the older songs.

4th Mix, 4th Mix Plus (for All Music Mode), and 5th Mix. Extreme gets VERY boring after you play it about 100 times. Where the heck is Boom Boom Dollar?
