I also saw DDR on CNN. They were talking about how a kid lost 80 pounds because of it.

The Fox affiliate in Boston (WFXT) played about a minute of the CNN article on the 10PM news tonight.

I was listening to the radio late last friday night, thats when they have all this dance music playing for some nightclub somewhere.. i wish i knew where frown.gif

but for about only 20 seconds i heard the beginning of "dam dariram" and was like "HOLY CRAP" and my friend who was beside me was like "that's from ddr!" then it ended and the song changed. It was the weirdest thing, it was like at 1 in the morning. I still can't believe it.

The new tech-tv/g4 comercial has a couple of teams playing afronova i think, they turned off the music so all you could hear is the steps...

*Sigh*

Surprising to hear a real song on the radio? cause that's what it is.

At like 2 in the morning here they were playing Dam Dariram (Full Version)on 105.7.

They also played some Dancemania song called "Feeling (Synrco-Mesh Mix)".

Finally, just dance music and not all the crappy "Slap the bitch the side up" type rap music. laugh.gif

No, he's saying that nobody should be surprised to hear a song that was released in 1992 as a single from an actual album being played on the radio.

I was watchin' Tech TV and I saw a commercial where these 2 kids were playing what I THOUGHT was DDR, but it was really Pump it Up.
Dumb, but hey. It's an observation.

Ehh, that was the finish line commercial. They didnt use DDR because they didnt know that V was on it. Since V is public domain (it being vilvaldi's winter) they could have used it.

I just saw teams of two teens each doing DDR on an arcade pad, no music though. But you could definitely tell they were DDR patterns, a few sounded like Boom Boom Dollar. This was on G4TechTV. Right before Cinematech [Final Fantasy edition]. Came on at about 6:46 PM EST.

I saw the same thing. It must have been ddr cause the arrows were in the right pattern unlike in Pump it up. Megas XLR is the poopy man.(that means good). Also, too lazy to see if this was posted but I saw a crazy version of what looked like ddr appear in an episode of Yu Gi Oh. My friend was flipping through the channels when I saw some ddr looking arrows float by. I told him to flip back and there was Tea playing a ddr/pump it up mutation of a game cause it had arrows everywhere. It was kinda cool and a bit obvious since Konami owns ddr and yu gi oh.

I was just watching Adult Swim and a card popped up that was an e-mail from someone on the message boards, and it said:

Person on Card wrote:
Do you play DDR?
If you do I bet you're awesome.
My girlfriend could smoke you.

To which Adult Swim responded

[Adult Swim] wrote:
Your girlfriend would do what?

I was hoping they would come up with a better response than that, but I guess they didn't know what DDR is.
