Usually, I'll just stop into the arcade after seeing a movie for a round of DDR. However, if I go to the arcade just for the arcade, I'll usually play a few other games as well as countless DDR games E4.gif

Ha, my arcade is the greatest. We have two DDR machines; one Extreme and the other 5th mix. We also have IIDX, Guitar Freaks, Drummania, Keyboard mania, Dance Maniax, and Initial D so my game play varys.

I usually play at least a few other games when I'm at the arcade. When I most recently went, I played Time Crisis 3, Point Blank 2, Sega Super GT, Jambo Safari, Tekken Tag Tournament, and a little bit of Marvel Vs. Capcom in addition to DDR. At another arcade, I played Percussion Freaks 3rd, Beatmania 6th, Guilty Gear X, Taiko no Tatsujin, etc.

DDR is the bomb at my arcade cuz we don't really have that many n00bs. At least, not that I kno of. I usually go straight to the DDR machine, but I like any game that uses a cool peripheral like the skateboarding games, or the sniper ones or whatever. Oh and car racing ones! I rock at car racing games!!!!

The Cedar Point arcade is really hard for me tho, because they have DDR at the front and a game called Drumscape in the middle. Drumscape is basically a box with a full electronic drumset inside. It plays music super loud, and you just drum to it. I could play that thing for hours, as I can DDR. But they both cost $1, so it empties my pockets reeeeeeally fast. If I had access to a Drummania or Guitar Freaks I would play those too.

meh, my friend and i walked into an arcade at darien lake (6 flags) after we had ridden some roller coasters and this is when we realized we had a problem, we walked around the arcade looking for a ddr and then left, next thing you know we heard "butterfly" and ran back in and saw a ddr megamix, we waited for the n00b bar hugger to leave and got our game on. it was 3 games for a dollar! frown.gif

Metal Slug 4
DMX
MvC2
SCII
SvC:Chaos

I'll play those when I'll have an odd number of coins to play ddr, tired as hell, or the machine is being invaded by n00bs. None of the arcades I go to have IIDX E2.gif

Somehow I always end up spending over $20 on DDR and Initial D ver. 2. DDR is 50 cents and Initial D is $1. Occasionally I'll play the old Neo-Geo games like Bust a Move and SvC Chaos.

Depending upon the night, I split about 60/40 between DDR and IIDX. I usually will play a few sets of DDR (we have 7th Mix and EX), and then play a couple of games of IIDX (8th Style). Mostly, that's how that goes, but every so often, I'll even dump a few coins into the Guitar Freaks or Drummania.

I do the same thing only when there's not any other games there that I'm interested in but I usually go over to the DDR machine first though.

Man I gotta play DDR when I see it too. E4.gif

It is not possible to pass a DDR machine without playing, unless I'm broke or something... disturb.gif
Cuz I don't believe in bumming a $1 for DDR... ....yet E15.gif
My routine in the arcade is usually 85% DDR and the rest is split between Beatmania II (doubt they will ever upgrade disgust.gif ), House of the Dead II (3 hasn't arrived yet frust.gif ) or Time Crisis 3. I have great hand/eye coordination so I kick a$$ in those games.. but DDR is my thing still. laugh.gif
