I skimmed through the soft pad discussion thread and didn't see anything about this. I recently purchased Ultramix for my brother because he only has Xbow. He purchased a PS2 -> Xbox converter but that doesn't work because there is a delay. What pads do you guys use when you play Ultramix? I need to know because I promised him I would buy it for him for his birthday.

Might as well answer before the lock...

The Gemini Game Elements converter works well, no lag that I've noticed.

But if you're looking for other Xbox native pads, the Mad Catz Beat Pad Pro is the cheapest ($25-$30) while also registering as a dance pad instead of a controller (Naki pads are cheaper, but show up as controllers in Ultramix).

Going the converter route, I've used a Cobalt Flux, an RO Ignition, BNS Ignitions, and the Konami PS2 soft pad with my Xbox.

well, there is a timing adjustment slider in the options menu. Maybe you can tweak that to match the lag of the converter.
