Percussion Freaks is the Korean version of Drum mania. They're the same game. _________________

Although it'd be nice to have the Percussion Freaks available, because they are different games.
It's like saying ParaParaParadise and ParaParaDancer (or DanceManiax and Dance Freaks) are the exact same game .
I think I was also told that GF10/DM9 needs to be added in as well. Not sure on that one though. _________________

And really, while I don't care for PIU much myself, I still think there needs to be more selection for PIU than just the one entry, since there are like nine versions of the game. Jaleco's Stepping series has two entries, and it sucks horribly in comparison.
And while we're on the subject, Stepping 3 Superior is also missing. _________________

Well, if we want to do this, someone's going to have to find out some things for us.
I'm pretty sure there's only one version of Dance Freaks and Para Para Dancing. I'm also quite sure there are several mixes of Percussion Freaks. What are they?
What about Pump, or any other game?
If we get a complete list of what's actually out there for each series, I'll add them.
[Edit: Got the mix info for Pump.] _________________

yes, there is only one Dance Freaks, and only one Para Para Dancing. As far as I knew, there was only Percussion Freaks 1-5.
[edit]
Apparently Percussion Freaks goes up to 8th... _________________

Are you sure? I dunno about Dance Freaks, but I used to be into PPP quite a bit, and I've never heard of a Para Para Dancing 2nd Mix... _________________

Percussion Freaks 1st-x
PFs follows Drum Mania. There's a 9th out. _________________

Yeah but that doesn't necessarily mean PF 9 is out yet. Although I have played PF 8, so that exists. _________________

Time to attempt a bit of thread necromancy. According to my sources, Percussion Freaks follows Drummania exactly. From what I've found on Konami's Hong Kong marketing site, it seems that up through Percussion Freaks 10th Mix are out, and the series begins with simply Percussion Freaks. As far as Keyboard Heaven is concerned, I am only able to find evidence for once mix of this. These are the only games I've noticed missing. Complete list follows:
Keyboard Heaven
Percussion Freaks
Percussion Freaks 2nd Mix
Percussion Freaks 3rd Mix
Percussion Freaks 4th Mix
Percussion Freaks 5th Mix
Percussion Freaks 6th Mix
Percussion Freaks 7th Mix
Percussion Freaks 8th Mix
Percussion Freaks 9th Mix
Percussion Freaks 10th Mix
Hopefully these will get added to the database soon. If necessary, I can also find pictorial proof of all of these mixes. |

About the Dance Freaks, there's only one. Then there's Dance Maniax, Dance Maniax 2nd mix, and Dance Maniax 2nd mix J-Append. _________________

Ahem...I think it's appropriate for me to post here. When the user wants to modify a location and has the option to select other music games, I Can Boogie is missing from the list. I hope most of you have heard of the game. I saw such a machine in a movie arcade, next to an Extreme machine. So it's prolly nescessary to add that game on there, thanx. _________________

I've never seen or heard of that game before. What is it? It looks like a ripoff of Eyetoy Groove, but I can't see the camera. _________________

I would assume that the camera would probably be located somewhere behind the screen or in the recesses of the cabinet so it doesn't get tampered with. and yeah, it looks to me like an arcade eyetoy groove. I've never seen one though, I'm just guessing... |

I played I Can Boogie last night. It was...well...never mind.
What was amusing was watching a 10-year-old girl trying to play the game, on Hard, no less, despite the fact that she had to jump just to tag the Hard button.
Anyway, I added all the above games to the locations list. You may now rejoice. _________________
