I have a metal pad at home so I play with socks on. At the arcade I play with my Adio there soo cumfy and give me good balance.

ummm....i just break in wutever kicks i have on. right now i DDR in those suede New Balances i have. work gr8. or my always foolproof choice, my nike runnin' shoes

You guys are straight up crazy lol...i hate playing in skate shoes...they are way to loose on your feet and i can't play with my shoes falling off...for me its my old OLD chucks all the way...the ones that are 4 years old and should be 2 sizes to small...but they grew with me lol...with all the holes...i love em!! he give PERFECT grip, they are snug on you feet so they aren't falling off all the time and plus factor here, there super cumfy all broke in and stuff...so that lets me play for longer...all in all...old chucks are the best!

Right now im playing with globes but they rub against my toes so it makes like a blister and hurts like heck.....And when i wear my Ipaths they have no arch (sp?) support so i get crazy bad cramps where i cant even walk.....so im thinking of buying a pair of sport shoes preferably nike shox because the last pair i had were very comfy and have alot of support.....

i have a pair of slip on AND 1's that i play in. they are very comfy, but i do play on gettin a pair of running shoes soon.

i love metal pads and i started expirementing with different types of shoes. i recently purchased a pair of ballet slippers and i love them! they keep the bottoms of your feet protected from screws and bolts on the pad but are soft enuff to enable you to feel the arrows. also, converse high-tops coming in millions of different colors are perfect because they are made of a fabricy material and have thin rubber soles.

Whan at home using soft pads, I use socks. But I use my Vans Prelims whan on metal mats. I've used skate shoes everyday for the last 3 years-they're great overall shoes

Currently, I play in regular DC's. They're heavy, which is the down and plus to them. Being heavy means that when I use them, I'm a little slower, but if I keep using them, and then switch to barefoot, or something lighter, my feet will be quicker, which will help out for faster songs(that are harder for big guys like me)

if you guys have read/seen my last post, I played with New Balance 470's, but since like early June, I've been playing with these really light, Mizuno Volleyball shoes. Call me a nerd or dork, but hey, I play with them, and I love em. The way got a pair of these shoes were from my volleyball team, I only wore them during games and inside the gym...during practices. They used to be nice and clean but now they're dirty, but it's all good though

That's enough bout' me, what do you guys (who haven't posted yet), wear when playing DDR?

This maybe a little strange, but I play at my best in my Timberland Boots. I tried playing in my chucks and nikes but I play so much better in boots. Also they are heavy so that gives me a challenge on faster songs.

I was playing the other day after work in my work clothes (bad idea, BTW) and since I'm a bus boy at Don Pablo's, they require me to wear these ghetto, Reebok-lookin', should-have-velcro-strap non-slip shoes. So I played in those and to my suprise, they worked really good.

I'm thinkin about buying some Nike Monster Shox cause the Pump world frickin champ wears them janks! r0xx0r5!!1 *barf*
