DDR is all you want to do in an arcade.

G-type

I have this problem, and it might be a bad thing. When I get to an arcade, and see DDR, I instantly break out the cash. All I want to do from that time, on to the time I Have to leave. That's what happened to me today. The machine is like a G-type magnet. If I hear it going, I instantly walk over there. I play and play and play, I can barely stop. It's sad.

Does this ever happend to you?

yea i use to just play ddr while im in the arcades but i started to play the good ol fighting games wich are cheaper to play

Well to me, it's like all I see is DDR, and an invisible arm comes out and pulls me on the pad, then takes quarters out of my pocket, then makes me play!

Not the sake with me. Only because I also like playing Marvel vs. Capcom 2. But DDR and MvsC2 is all I'll play. Thankfully, MvsC2 is about as frequently located in arcades as DDR is.

lol, see, this giant nagnet pulls me over towards the machine, and then the machine somehow telepathically tells me to bum 50 cents off of every friend i have there, so i can get at least 45 minutes of gameplay in.......i swear *cough cough* i was forced to do it

I used to be that way but lately I've been playing a lot of Sega GT Rally 2 between sets to catch my breath. I usually do a set of Max 300, easy song, Max 300, easy song so after that I need a break. I also play Jurassic Park 3 a good deal because there's something wrong with the machine it often lets you play for free.

I'm the exact same way - I get to my arcade, walk to the side of it to get tokens, then walk back to the front to get on the DDR machine, and then I leave - I don't play any other games, and I don't go anywhere else in the arcade.

Aside from the rare MvC2 or Tekken 4 break, it is DDR all the way.

I pretty much just play DDR in arcades. I occasionally play other games if there is a reason to, it's a new game, I'm mad at DDR, I'm bored with DDR, or someone that I'd like to get to know better is playing on the other player-side.

DDR>>>almost all other games.

DDR is usually the only thing worth playing... Alot of people play soul calibur 2, or something like that, but I tend to stick to DDR, occasionally take money from people on the airhockey table(I got real good using my extra tokens to play airhockey. So i play people for money, to play more DDR)

I'll always play some DDR, but how much I play is inversely proportionate to how many other good games there are in the arcade.

For example, one arcade I go to has DDR, PIU, a Neo Geo cabinet with Magical Drop, The Punisher, and an ungodly amount of crappy games. I usually hover around DDR and PIU, with occasional trips to the other games.

Another arcade I go to has DDR, SC2, House of the Dead 3, Time Crisis 3, and several other good games. I often find myself scattering my money all around at that particular arcade.

that use to happen to me when I first started playing, but that was 3 and a half years ago and I usually play other games rather than DDR now.

I mostly only play DDR, only because I don't really see other games that interest me, aside from San Francisco Rush 2049. Other than those two, I'm more of an old school gamer. NES and SNES made me what I am now.

the only reason i GO to an arcade is to play ddr... haha... but i also play beatmania. and if i ever venture off into the rest of the arcade... i really only play skee ball... im such a loser.

That happens to me all the time. If someone invites me to the movies and I know theres gonna be DDR, I'll go and play as much as I can before the movie starts. I even want to go in early. Also, one time, my school went on a field trip to Golfland Sunsplash and knew there a couple of machines there in the arcade. Every brought a towel and there swim suits and everything except me. When they asked me if I was gonna swim, I said no and told them I was going to play DDR. They thought I was stupid. I played the whole time, it was great. Its so addicting!!

the only good games we got at our 1 arcade is DDR 5th mix and marvel vs. capcom 2. and at SW we got like 2 ddr machines and tekken:TT and tekken 4.god i wish sw would buy a beatmania machine
