The upgrade has seem to be quite scarce. The only places where i have seen beat mania the final is on a new machine. You could check Rinkya, a proxy for yahoo auctions in japan.

Mind you, if you are in a "Beatmania Mini" Cabinet now (The coin slot is on the door, not on the pannel where all of the controlls are) Then it would be worth it to sell your machine and buy a new Beatmania The Final, as they seem to always come in the big machine(No more being called cute turntables!).

IMHO, don't bother.

Everyone that's upgraded to The Final, I doubt has ANY reason to downgrade to any other Mix. Beatmania's popularity is definitely nothing worth for any arcade to downgrade, and selling their Final kits.

At this point, you're probably better off just finding a Final cabinet, like Tomo said. Besides, you can only upgrade 6th Mix and 7th Mix to The Final.

And no, The Final CAN be upgraded into a Mini cabinet. Unless of course, The Final's instruction manual just decided to throw the mini cabinet's upgrade instructions in there for no reason.
