I got a HUGE crowd at my arcade when I played Paranoia Survivor. My friend lost and I got a B on it. Afterwards the young Mexican woman watching us went up to my friend (who's black) and said "OOOH White boy beat you!" It was awfully funny. E1.gif

All of the 10s are crowd drawers. I would say the ultimate crowd drawer is PSMO, if you can pass it - that song is just one big long stream. Max300 usually gets me a good crowd after the first 8-step run, and it really grows after the 32-stepper in the beginning (the one that starts RURURURU DLDLDLDL), and it's not too bad to pass.

Any song will draw a crowd though, if you're PAing it well. People marvel at the perfects just as much as they marvel at fast feet.

I get strange amounts of people with Let's Groove, singles and doubles. I guess it's because of the switching crossover things in the begining, and the fact that I totally get into it y'know? Plus, the only people to watch are usually the parents of the kids in the hockey league... since I jam at either the roller rink, or ice arena... and they're impressed with very minimal DDR skillz... (LG is so damn easy)

I think you mean Ectasy on Reverse-Reverse Boost. Am-3p is on Fuwa.

I totally agree with you man! Whenever I see a crowd coming, I pick CSFILSM or R&P. I also think Dead End or Afronova are also pretty good crowd drawers.

honestly, though, I think that if you're playing to draw a crowd, you're playing for the wrong reasons.

Thats actually a good point. I don't actually play to see how many people I can impress. It's just cool to see people who have never seen the game or have never actually seen someone play react. Sometimes it's a good reaction, and sometimes its a bad one. But that doesn't matter to me though. I just like to see their faces and hear their comments.

3 reasons why i play: To have fun, to work out, and to attract a crowd E4.gif . Heh, there's nothing wrong with drawing crowds, or wanting to. It's attention, and that's the thing that my self esteem needs greatly E15.gif .

Anything doubles....once i got away with playing butterfly trick doubles and i got a crowd... And yeah, any single over 7 feet..

Well, I usually get the most crowds from playing HVAM. However, I think the greatest crowd-grabber is The Legend of MAX. Either that or MAX 300. Stomping that frequent is sure to attract ANYONE.

Versus mode, definitely. Somehow two people playing together draws huge crowds. And of course 10 foots. Put those two together (two people having a battle on PSMO) and you get an initially empty arcade filled with like 20 people who literally came in off the street to watch in the time that it takes PSMO to run through (I saw this happen once although I still can't even pass PSMO *fume* )

LoM seems to work better than Max 300 though (prolly something about the way that it builds up and the chains get longer and longer and finally peak at that utterly insane stream at the end ... Max 300 is kinda all over the place)

Failing that, HVAM. Something about massive doublestepping seems to draw people in (or crazy spinning if your name is Usagi). CSFILSM does seem to work though ... that's probably down to its non stop streaming.

Same thing happens to me. I will actually get some people to give me tokens when I'm all out just so they can watch me. E1.gif

Actually our arcade just moved to a new more crowded location. This might mean I'm going to play a bit more didder. Honestly... I love showing off as much as I suck it's still fun to play Max 300, Dead End, Cartoon Heroes, and other stuff like that happy.gif. Usually if no one is on the machine but there are people around it... I kinda just hop on laugh.gif

Yeah... I actually wait for the crowd then play laugh.gif Go ahead... Laugh it up you know you want to =P

CSFILSM always draws a crowd at our arcade. I have played it and had some comments like, "Look at him go, it looks like he is shakin' the devil out of him", "Dude he must be on Aderol and Jolt Cola", and my personal favorite, "DAMN LOOK AT THAT CRAZY HONKY!" E1.gif

Matsuri Japan Heavy.

Daikenkai, Across the Nightmare, MaxX Unlimited Heavy Doubles (believe me, people DO play doubles around here.)

Basically, anything doubles will land you a huge crowd.
