People that throw you off while playing ddr

People never come up to me.

And I know why. XD Its because people ALWAYS stare at me when I play. I'll be doing amazing until they come up to me. And as soon as they start looking at me I get nervous and I either do really bad, or I fail.
And believe me that sucks.

1-KIDS
2-fat n'stupid FS'ers who look at me funny
3-people who claim to be good on DDR but then suck
5-those conceited pretty boys over at the Initial D machine, but then I beat the crap at their own game

I was at the arcade yesterday and this family was watching me and another guy play. We were playing HV heavy and one of the daughters was saying how easy it looks to play. Talking doesn't bother me but her mom had her foot on one of the metal panels which distracted me. I still passed with an A so it didn't distract me too much. I don't mind if someone is shadowing or talking around me but to have your foot on the pad that I'm playing on is just plain dumb. I was about to stomp on her foot then the song was over. Guess I missed my opportunity.

There's always next time.

people who swear really distract me when I'm playing DDR for some unknown reason. I cant concentrate on it when that happens. Other then that, little kids who like to have their feet smashed really distract me too. Of course, then I smash their feet.

Okay, here's my story: I was playing at at the arcade while trying to teach my cousins and one of the workers there continually came up to me saying how good he was...and here's the best part, he was a light player. Nothing against light players, at all(so don't get angry at me), but he was saying how awesomely phenomenal he was against my newbie cousins, and I could easily whoop him with so much as Tsugaru heavy. He was nice but uber annoying.

Other things that annoy me...actually not much, I think just people who talk to you while you're playing. That's a biggie.

I hate it when people try to talk to me in the middle of a song but I hate it more when someone gets on the other pad and hits the arrows off bit to a song that I don't know very well or one that's really hard.

It's pretty annoying when kids get on the pad too (I think I stepped on one of them once, I didn't mean to but I don't think it's entirely my fault since they're parents should've been watching them anyway.) At least they weren't that small but still small enough to at least have watchful eye over.

While reading all of this, I remember being at the Wet N' Wild in Las Vegas (Oh yeah, gotta check if the machine is still there) They had a machine there. Me and this guy were about to play, but we politly let this mother and daughter go before us. Ok, just the normal 'first time playing thing' for the first few seconds. They pick some 2-3 footer song and the ladies daughter gets on the pad. Her daughter watches the arrows and gets a bewildered look on her face. She waits and asks: "Uhhhh, what do I do?". Now This sorta bothered me, but I waited as she looked down at the arrows around her feet and asked somone to help. "Okay, I'll help," I said, getting on the pad next to her. "Ok, when the arrows get up here...." I said, pointing out the stationary arrows at the top that we have all become fond of "....You step on the arrow," I said, stepping on the right arrow to demonstrate. As soon as I did this, her mother was like: "HEY! BACK OFF! STOP TAKING OUR MONEY!" This took me offf gaurd as I looked up at the girl for second and she started shouting something. I was about to tell them I was help but all that got out was "I...." Before the lady started shouting at me again. The guy that was gonna let me use one of songs was like "Man, that was rude," The guy said under his breath "Yeah, I know, she's a freaking Bit..." I stopped myself as they left. She failed the first song she was on, and didn't make an attempt at any of the steps. They both walked off saying that, that game was a total waste of money and meant for retards.

Things like that piss me off the most....

i live by youngstown, ohio, where all the homies live, but whenever i go play at out bowling alley, theres always seriously, a horde of 7-12 year old little black kids running around, juping on and off the other pad while i'm playing, not that i'm racist or anything, but one of theese days, theyre gonna do that while i'm playing something on doubble, and get ran over! they piss me off so much, and also, at the same place, theres this thing called "cosmic bowling" there, its where they turn all the regular lights off, and turn blacklights and strobes and stuff on, but they turn the music up so loud, i can feel it, and not hear the ddr machine playing.

well, I really don't like kids running around close to the machine, also what throws me off if someone just suddenly decides to shawdow me in the middle of a song. But more so when little kids are just running around close to the machine, I just don't want to have one of them run by the pad that I'm playing on and then I accidently hit them with my arm or leg or something. Those are the things that can really throw me off sometimes...

Yeah so me and two of my friends were at an arcade once, and these two little kids were playing air hockey. One of them took the thing you hit the puck with and kept spinning it and yelling "Look! I have a beyblade!" He kept doing it and doing it and eventually it went flying off the table and onto the pad as my friend was in the middle of a song. He took the 'beyblade' and threw as hard as he could on the floor and the kid went away crying.

One thing I learned to do at a tournament to throw your opponent off is attach 7234654 glowsticks to your pants so as you play they will swing around and hit your opponent. This happened to me, kind of annoying.

Shadowers throw me off. Pretty much anyone that gets on the pad beside me and isn't really playing.
