|
|
Hello. I'm opening up a game center and I plan on offering DDR through the X-Box. It's cheaper than the coin op system and I can charge people per hour rather than per game which is a lot cheaper for the people using it. About $5/hour rather than the $10-$15/hour people spend in the arcade. Do you think people would go for this idea? Using an X-Box with pads instead of the arcade system?
Also what pads should I get? I need something that can take abuse all day long. Thanks. |

personally i don't think so. people come to the arcade to play on the best metal pads on a machine, not thorugh an xbox. unless u buy 2 tx-2000's off ebay($400 each with shipping) than defintely don't do it. just get a brand new ddr extreme machine for $7700. there's my 2 cents |

Not to mention the fact that this is illegal (public performance of most video games is prohibited without prior consent, as is profiting from said video game).
Whether or not its "more illegal" than possessing a DDR machine, who knows. I'm just letting you know what you need to consider. Konami doesn't have much impetus to go after imported cabinets, but there's not much holding them back from going after people who make money using their game. _________________
