Do they move that much? And if so, what can I do to stop most if not all of it?

You should probably post this in the DDR Console Games forum for better results.

As for my experience with ignition pads on carpet, they move a little, but not an unmanageable amount (for reference, I had a RedOctane Ignition 2.0). Like I said, the console games forum will have a lot of good modding options for you to peruse.

I played an ignition many times on carpet(my friend has an ignition) I will be as bold to say that it barely slid at all, even when MAX300 heavy was being played. Or you can be like me and keep the cheap pads and love the creation of duck tape.

Ahh, I gotcha. Sorry for posting here. The reason I did was because I was using Stepmania

You only have a problem when your trying to play doubles and you end up having the pads sliding in the opposite directions E1.gif

The stuff you put under carpets works miracles under the pads as well

Yeah, that happened to me a lot. I ended up putting big weights on either side of the 2 pads. It works really well, until I get some crossover that involves one of my feet swinging out to hit L1 or R2, then occasionally my foot hits and I get a little confused. But other than that it's all good.

RO Ignition Pad ROCKS!!!! Good choice!!! Now you won't be able to play at your friend's house anymore! lol that's what happened to me.
