|
|
Well for those who are probably saying "OH GOD NOT ANOTHER WE'RE MAKING A DDR VIDEO WITH REAL PEOPLE AND IT'S NEVER BEEN DONE WHATSOEVER!"
This time it's serious and it has been planned out perfectly. Here's some info concerning when it's gonna happen, where at, what time, how to get there, etc etc.
When: Tuesday June 8, 2004
Where: Malibu Castle - Redwood City, CA.
Why: To create the most spectacular dancer's video ever made.
Alright here's the details
There will be no sign ups, it's a come for the fun of it deal. You arrive at Malibu, pay the $10 all day pass then meet up at the DDR machine, sign your name on our registration tablet, what I mean is giving out your name, your forum screen name (here of course) and e-mail address.
Recording session will start at exactly 3:00PM starting off with singles dancers. Partner choices is up to you, you may also play alone if you desire. Then at 4:00PM we will be recording the doubles players. Then should we have enough film avaliable, we will have freestylers.
Getting to Malibu
The address to Malibu is 320 Blomquist St.
Redwood City. You may use http://www.mapquest.com to be given driving directions to get there.
Public Transportation
Don't wanna waste gas? Or get stuck in traffic? Or come far away? There's always Public Transportation for cheap costs.
Caltrains
Coming from Sunnyvale? San Jose? Take Caltrains to Zone 2 and get off at the Redwood City Station! Then turn walk towards El Camino Real, make a left, followed by making a left on Jefferson, make a right on Veterans, then left on Maple, finally make a right on Blomquist and you should see Malibu after passing the train tracks.
BART
Live in Fremont? Dublin? or Oakland? Find the nearest BART Station in your area then take the Millbrae/SFO or Daly City outbound trains to the Millbrae station then transfer onto Caltrains to Redwood City Station. Follow the same directions as above. For more information on BART trains visit http://www.bart.gov for time schedules, trip planners, and locations.
Well that's all you all should need to know. I hope this video project will go well because I'm really excited about doing this for the first time. I know a lot of people have tried to do this but this time the video will be a success and I hope many of you will join in on making this video happen. It won't be able to happen without your help. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you will all be there =D _________________

EDIT: Damnit, I didn't look at the date.
A Tuesday? I definitely can't make it. How about a Saturday or Friday? _________________

I was once walking down the street late one night when a hooker called to me from the curb, asking me if I was looking for some fun. "No thanks, Miss" I replied, pulling out a set of headphones.
