I have a Cobalt Flux and I'm really getting pissed off with it. I have to play on carpet and it slides all over the place while I'm playing. I've gotten about 3 full combos ever on it, when I can easily get them on the arcade, because the down arrow will end up pointing diagonally and I start getting BS almosts and boos. It's really getting frustrating because I want to practice extra stage and quite simply can't get an AA for the life of me if the pad is all over the place. I put the adhesive stuff that came with it on the bottom and it helped a little bit but it's still unbearable. After playing a Rhythm & Police half of the thing is under my freaking bed because it goes all over the place when I have to do turns. Is there anything I can put under it to stop this? |

Go to a hardware store and buy more of the velcro grip. I bought my CF used, and the person who owned it before me put the velcro grip on in a stupid pattern that still allowed it to slide around on my carpet, so I had a hard time maintaining a combo. I got more velcro grip, covered the entire bottom of the pad with just to be sure, and now it doesn't move at all. _________________

Something that works for me is I just went to your local *orange* hardware store and picked up some 'easy liner' non-slip cabinet liner. Great to lay on the carpet, and lay your pad right on top. My el-chepo MadCatz pad no longer is a carpet surfboard.
