My PS2-PC adapter finally came in today, and it works perfectly. Well, almost perfectly. There's one big problem, though. When I played with the adapter plugged in, SM would lag like crazy for anywhere from 2-30 seconds per song for about nine out of ten songs. I'm used to SM lagging when I'm playing on the keyboard, but it doesn't happen anywhere near as frequently when I'm doing so.

Does anyone know what could possibly wrong here? I hope this is reversible.

=\

The adapter; http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=161&products_id=3176&

I haven't installed the drivers yet, since they said it was optional, and I'd only need to do that if I wanted "Force Feedback". That doesn't sound like something a pad would need, so I didn't bother.

please post adapter questions in there.

as far as your problem...I use a super joy box dual adapter. I love the thing. works perfectly. what are your system specs? are you using a laptop...those tend to lag in general with SM adapter setups. you don't need to worry about drivers with that adapter. but did you put in the holy trinity of adapter codes (up+start+select)? read my FAQ on that page. it is begging to have stuff added...so if you find a solution to your problem that required any work involving the adapter settings, feel free to post the info and I'll add it.

Ah. I'm using a laptop. I guess that's the problem then. Well, I'll post a solution if I can find one. Thanks!
