Anyone else have something they do to get ready for a song? Depending on the song I usually stretch my legs out and right when the song starts playing, before the arrows come up, I'll either bounce or nod my head to the beat.

Before most songs: Do 4-8 steps at 8th note speed before the arrows show up on the screen, but after the song starts.

Before 10s: Stretch my hamstrings and quads.

Before Era: Bounce on my toes to the beat...I don't even know why.

I usualy work my self up. So in other words, let's say I want to pass a level seven, so I do this: Stretch a bit, then I bounce a bit just to get my legs use to it, 'cause I play a bit like that, I'm light on my feet and I bounce a bit to each step. Then I'll play a level 4 song, then level 5, then a level 6, then a level 7, then another level 7, then I'll try an 8

But that's just me. I never usualy run out of energy when I play DDR. So I say if you run out of energy really easily, don't try this....

I stretch for about 5-10 minutes before I even start playing.
